A Little About Coastal Cottages

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire has been the leading agency in Pembrokeshire for over 25 years.  In those years we have had the pleasure of creating a choice of cottages that are amongst the most quaint, quirky and downright fabulous.  The team all live in Pembrokeshire, we live, breathe and enjoy the county ourselves, so who better to help you do the same when you stay with us.

As a result we have repeat business levels of over 70% year on year, which in turn has now created our new strap line “Stay with Friends”.

“Stay with friends” is about just that.  How would we prepare our cottages for the arrival of our best friend, how would we advise our best friend over the phone if they had children or a dog; and more importantly if something went wrong, how would we react.  Everyone of us has a best friend, and we found this analogy easier to work to rather than a corporate strap line that meant very little.  

We sell holidays, we sell experiences and we love what we do.  So we make sure we do it well.

Quality as Standard!

Standard is probably the wrong word, as we are all individuals and therefore tastes differ. At Coastal Cottages we only handle the finest properties and we actually turn down over 60% of product offered to us.

We do have all our cottages graded with Visit Wales (Wales Tourist Board) but the system does have its limitations.  We feel many cottages get penalised for character, uniqueness and sometimes taste. But generally it is quite a good guide. 

Our advice?  If you have any special requests, special needs, like a certain style of property, like certain activities, please pick up the phone.  We visit all our cottages.  We eat in the restaurants, walk the beaches, have children and pets and can answer most questions straight away.

Many of our properties have the special host sign, which in essence means you will automatically receive a welcome refreshment from the owner.  We can arrange welcome hampers packed full of local produce, fizz, chocolates or whatever you want.  We can even deliver tickets to your cottages for all pre booked activity centres. 

We do pride ourselves on the quality of service as well as the cottages themselves.  If you want anything, please pick up the phone.  We can do most things and if we can’t, we know a man who can! We do offer Personal Accident and Travel Insurance that covers car repairs, hire, hotel accommodation and replacement of personal possessions for only £10 for a short break and £20 for a week - this covers all your party members and offers great value and peace of mind.  As we sell quite a few holidays we were able to negotiate our own deal for our clients so we could pass these savings direct to you.
