What you'll love about Lobster Pot Cottage:

how to find this property

Lobster Pot is a charming detached stone cottage with a delightful upside down arrangement, and is a perennial favourite with everyone. It maintains its original character and has been thoughtfully converted, with comfortable bedrooms and stairs leading to the open plan living space above which features old carved and dated beams. The woodburning stove ensures cosy evenings as it casts flickering firelight through the roof timbers.

The large, enclosed south west facing patio is perfect for summer eating and drinking while you enjoy watching the swallows and wagtails play above the old farmyard. It is also ideal for children and pets with the beach less than 150 yards away. Spend your days exploring the rock pools or try to catch a glimpse of seals and dolphins, which are frequent visitors.

A magical holiday base.

Aberfforest is a very special bay on this beautiful coastline, pitted with tiny sandy coves and a favourite haunt of seals and dolphins. Deciduous ancient woodlands run down tiny valleys to the seas edge and birdwatchers and naturalists delight in the abundance of wildlife. The bay, which can only be approached by the general public over a long footpath, is almost private and has launching facilities available by prior arrangement. The small, sandy beach is perfect for swimming or kayaking and you may sometimes be joined by a seal. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs past Aberfforest; follow this for fantastic scenic walks to Newport beach and Dinas Head. The villages of Dinas and Newport with their shops, pubs and restaurants are one and a half miles, a pleasant walk in good weather.

The following 6 properties are approximately 150 yards from the beach:

Part of a group of six farm buildings including Seal Cottage (13257), Crab Cottage (10885), Seahorse Cottage (12050), Aberfforest House (12726) and Hen Ty Llaeth (12750).

This is a no smoking property.
