Things To Do near Bro Dawel

Dyfed Shire Horse Farm

Enjoy a day out with all the family at The Dyfed Shire Horse Farm in North Pembrokeshire. With shire horses and other traditional farmyard animals along with the Llamas from South America. Throughout the summer the farm hosts interactive demonstrations, ploughing out in the fields with the horses or meet the farrier in his workshop. You can also see a working horse harness demonstration on the farm daily, during which we will dress the horse in a working set of harness and explain the function and history of the harness.

Melin Tregwynt

Melin Tregwynt has been owned by the same family since 1912. For centuries local farmers used to bring their fleeces to be washed then soun and woven into fine wool blankets. This same steam provided power for the mill and you can still see the water wheel turning. Most of the cloths you see here are traditional to Wales and many are unique to Tregwynt Mill. We design and weave blankets, throws and cushions for custromers worldwide.

Felinwynt Rainforest Centre

Enjoy a day out amongst free flying, tropical butterflies. In natural surroundings.

The visitor centre is open from April to September and there is something for all the family. Enjoy the tour and demonstrations; treat yourself to your favorite chocolates in the shops.
