About Heddfan Cottage

Heddfan Cottage is set above the bustling, picturesque seaside village of Little Haven and enjoys breath-taking views across St Brides Bay to Ramsey Island and St David’s Head.  An easy 5 minute downhill walk takes you to the beach and all the village facilities including pubs, cafes and the delightful deli and local produce specialist gift shop, Lobster And Mor.

Recently refurbished, including the addition of an Air Source Heat Pump and solar panels to replace the old oil boiler, you can rest easy that any stay has a minimal carbon footprint.  Comfortably furnished and deceptively spacious, the lounge/dining room has patio doors opening to the sunny and sheltered garden with a paved patio, the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or dine alfresco on a summer’s evening as you soak up the beautiful sea view and the spectacular sunsets.  The super newly fitted and well-equipped kitchen leads off the lounge and also shares the same delightful views to the beach and sea.  The ground floor also has a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, as well as another shower room with WC also freshly refurbished for this season.  Stairs lead from a cosy reading/study area to a twin room nestling in the eaves.

Spend your days on the beach which offers many sheltered coves, safe swimming, paddling and numerous rock pools for families to explore.  The slipway also makes Little Haven popular with water sports and sailing enthusiasts, as well as the local fishermen.  The Pembrokeshire Coast Path running through the village enables visitors to appreciate the beautiful coastline on foot and enjoy some stunning views.  The Fflecsi bus service service allows you to venture further afield taking in some of the other beautiful beaches in St Bride’s Bay. The next village of Broad Haven, with its wide expanse of golden sand can be accessed across the beach at low tide, or over the headland when the tide is in.  Here you can find a small general store and post office, a further selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants, and a well-equipped water sports centre.

Heddfan Cottage, with its wonderful coastal views, makes a super “green” holiday home for a family or a couple to enjoy, whatever the season.

No cot and highchair provided, you are welcome to bring your own.
