Foxhole Cottage is set in one of the most privileged positions on the Pembrokeshire coast - directly above Whitesands Beach.

This warm and comfortable cottage has been tastefully decorated and enjoys all the modern amenities. Step inside the property and you can see the sea from all west facing windows, the wood burning stove ensures a cosy feeling even on the chilliest of evenings. Designed for romantics, imagine looking out through the French windows of your double bedroom to the luxury of your own private patio with panoramic views of Whitesands Bay, Ramsey Island and the Atlantic beyond.

There is an enclosed lawn to the south facing front, together with a hide-away cwtch that’s been built into the hedge overlooking the beach; the surrounding fenced farm field provides plenty of space for children to play. Enjoy meals alfesco on your paved terrace looking out over the beach with the whole bay spread out before you or hideaway in the little cwtch where you can sit on the rocks and enjoy a morning coffee or evening sundowner, while you soak up the view.

Whitesands Beach, one of the best in the world, a short walk away down a winding lane, popular with surfing enthusiasts, both beginners and professionals alike with a beachside cafe. Take a boat trip to or around Ramsey Island to see the amazing bird and wildlife. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore this stunning coastline, climbing up Carn Llidi. The tiny city of St Davids with its shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, as well as its Cathedral and Bishops Palace is only a short drive away.

This Access Statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version that we have received. This statement has been prepared as objectively as possible, however with such a wide remit oversights may be made.

Please ensure all crucial requirements for a safe and enjoyable holiday are present so if you have any queries whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01437 767600.

Approached on B4583 road; turn up concrete and gravel lane; slight gradient; up to 3 car spaces directly outside property; car park consists of gravelled surface, flat. Three entrance doors on ground level; one with two steps to get in. Guests collect key from location advised by Coastal Cottages and won’t necessarily be met by owner. No guaranteed assistance with unpacking of luggage therefore. Single storey, with one step to twin and double bedroom; master bedroom (twin) on ground level, with access to easily accessible nearby shower room with wc; other bathroom and wc, two steps up from that level. Garden consists of lawned enclosed area; paving stones surround house; rear of house has gravelled area; shed has several (4) steps to get in to it (bins stored there). Sitting room on ground floor, with three-piece suite and dining table and chairs. No public transport; seasonal beach shop open in nearby car park. Celtic Coaster bus leaves beach car park Easter through to end of September.

Wonderful week at Foxhole cottage. There cannot be another holiday cottage with a better view! The walk from Caerfai Bay to Whitesands is one of the best coastal walks we have ever done.Great breakfast baps at the cafe in Oriel y Parc. Lovely to come back to Foxhole after a day of walking. Cosy well equipped cottage with a great bed. Perfect!

Our 8th time at Foxhole and Craig yr Hall for our families. We love it here and we all enjoy walking down to the beach in the mornings - when no one else has left footprints in the sand - and writing our names across the beach. When the weather is good we walk up over the hill to the small caves where there are often baby seals sunbathing on the rocks. The cliffs also are a great place to spot seals in the bay. It can be nice to get out and about during the week, and there are plenty of places around that offer a great day out from a meal in St Davids to beach horse riding at Nolton Stables. We love it here at Foxhole and we will definitely be back. Thanks for having us all again!

Yet another lovely stay in Foxhole cottage, Not quite wall to wall sunshine but only one cold day of rain, We saw plenty of sunshine, to brighten that stunning view, usual cliff walks enjoyed. Good food at the sloop and the bishops, and even better at the Cambrian in Solva and best of all at Craig Glas country hotel between St Davids and Aberieddy, wonderful Lobster from Abercastle cought that day.

Foxhole cottage has been a lovely place to stay, we love White sands and Pembrokeshire and we have enjoyed staying so close to the beach. The location is perfect, we were able to walk down to the beach for evening walks and visit many other places we love, we always visit it when we come down, so have enjoyed being so close. The cottage is so comfortable, all the rooms are well fitted and everything has worked well we love the atmosphere here, and the views are stunning. Thank you, we've had a lovely stay.

We had the best time! Never seen the sea here so blue! We walked the coastal pathand made use of the buses to get us back - excellent service. We spent lots of time on the beach on looking at it from the house who could tire of that view! and the waves wonderful! going home restored and relaxed couldn't ask for more!

Back again at Foxhole. Had a fantastic Christmas. The cottage is really toasty and warm, and the shower is magic. The best cottage in Pembrokeshire for spending the winter months. I would suggest an early morning walk over to St Davids Head to watch the porpoises feeding off the headland; and look out for the Merlin along the way!
