Ty Lwcus is a super spacious detached house set in an enviable position in Penally, its elevated spot ensures the most stunning views over the dunes to the sea, Caldey Island and Carmarthen Bay, add in the sauna cabin in the garden and Tenby South Beach a mere 10 minutes walk away and you have the recipe for a perfect holiday. Comfortable and stylish with contemporary furnishings in tones that reflect the surrounding natural landscape, the large picture windows make it feel light and airy, maximising the sea views from nearly every room.

Set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac step into the spacious hallway with lovely Parquet flooring throughout the ground floor. The modern fitted kitchen is well-equipped and washing up will never be a hardship with the wonderful sea views. The dining room arches to the sitting room with its large comfortable corner sofa, as well as a desk for those who have to work. The wood burning stove will keep chills away on those autumnal evenings while sliding doors open to a raised decked balcony, a real suntrap, the ideal spot to relax on a summer’s evening with a glass of wine and soak up the sea views. Steps lead down to the enclosed rear garden with a sheltered lawn giving space for children to play and a paved patio where you can enjoy a barbecue or relax in the sauna, a real treat and perfect for those aching muscles.

Stairs lead from the hall to the light bedrooms above, 2 have fantastic sea views, one with a zip and link bed that can be made up as a super king or twin beds; while the king size bedroom has a palatial hidden ensuite bathroom also with a sea view.

Conveniently located a 10 minute downhill walk will take you over the dunes to Tenby South Beach, with its long stretch of golden sand is popular with surfers and other water sport enthusiasts. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline on foot. There are a choice of 2 pubs, both serving food within walking distance or for that extra treat visit Penally Abbey for afternoon tea or a meal. The picturesque medieval town of Tenby with its pretty harbour, quaint cobbled streets and range of pubs, shops and galleries to visit is within a short drive.

A trip to Caldey Island, home to Cistercian monks, is not to be missed with its unique tranquil atmosphere. Head west to the seaside villages of Lydstep and Manorbier or East to Saundersfoot, Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth, all with beautiful beaches and facilities to sample.

Keen golfers will enjoy the choice of courses to try including Trefloyne Gold Course and Tenby Golf Club, while there are a number of family attractions, Manor Wildlife Park, Folly Farm and Heatherton World of Activities, all within a short drive.

A wonderful holiday home, once you arrive you can park the car, just relax and enjoy a slower pace of life and exploring this beautiful part of South Pembrokeshire.

This Access Statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version that we have received. This statement has been prepared as objectively as possible, however with such a wide remit oversights may be made.

Approached from an A-road then approx. 0.9 miles further, the last 0.1mile is up a steep single-track road. It can also be accessed from the Ridgeway, but again this still takes you down a single-track road. House is down the end of a cul-de-sac. Parking is available for 2 cars. Main entrance door is reached via a slope or 7 or 8 steps of low incline. There is one step up onto the porch and a lip over the threshold. Garden accessed down 5 steps front utility room at the rear of the property, or through garden gate to the right side of the house down a narrow path. Garden is mainly set to lawn with patio area and raised deck which leads back into the living room through French doors, up 5 steps. The lawn slopes gradually to the back of the garden. Ample seating and patio dining table present. Inside, on the ground floor are to be found a kitchen, cloakroom, utility room, dining room living room and office area. The flooring is parquet hardwood flooring with loose rugs. Kitchen has eye-level AEG microwave and integrated oven below. There is a large double freestanding American style fridge freezer. Also, an induction hob, Integrated dishwasher, toaster, and kettle. Utility room has a sink and a washing machine. From here there is access to the garden down 4 concrete steps. The property has wifi. The living room is through the dining room and has a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime video etc. The French doors look out to the garden and then the golf course and sea beyond. The doors provide access to the raised deck with comfortable garden furniture and the garden beyond. Upstairs is accessed via a wooden staircase with one return. The master bedroom has built in wardrobes and a secret ensuite bathroom through one of the “wardrobe doors”. There you will find a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi bath. The sink has an illuminated mirror. There is a vanity unit and lighting for shaving etc. There are two further bedrooms. The property sleeps 5/6. One dog per booking is welcome. The property is light and airy throughout and has far reaching views to the sea from all the rear facing rooms. There is double glazing throughout, central heating and a well-insulated home.

This our second time to Penally, it's a lovely village with very friendly residents. The house is great, very well equipped and in a lovely and quiet location with easy access to the beach and coastal path. Would recommend.

Lovely house and location! Great base for exploring the area. Enjoyed visiting Bosherston Lily ponds, St Govan's chapel, Freshwater West - Dobby's grave :(, and much more.. Plenty of walks for our dog. Didn't have the chance to use the sauna but looks very nice. Thank you very much for our stay and the wine!
