After welcoming in the new year in style, 2010 has got off to a chilly start, even here in usually mild Pembrokeshire. Surprisingly there were still takers for various new years day swims around the county – an ideal way to cure the after effects of New Years Eve but I wasn’t brave enough! Despite the freezing temperatures the scenery is beautiful – clear skies and white fields as far as the eye can see leading to the snow-dusted Preseli Mountains.
My colleagues have been out and about visiting cottages – see the photo of pretty Ivy Tower Village in St. Florence taken by Sue, whilst others have been enjoying making snowmen (and snow women too.) Spring seems a long way off at the moment but if you can enjoy this winter wonderland, then do!
