Break out the Barbecue!

We’re into the month of May and the forecast is finally beginning to promise hot weather. Fearful that I may have jinxed the weather whilst writing this post as it is now raining, I think it’s safe to say people are getting ready to break out the summer dresses, shorts and flip-flops. We are on our way to warm summer days, and what better way to finish the day than by gathering around a barbecue with friends? From seafood caught by locals out of Solva harbour, beef reared on the Preselis to free range eggs laid by chickens at farms across the county, it really is a wonder this festival is only in its second year! If you’re a food fanatic, the Haverfoodfest really is not one to miss. With just under 50 stalls, there will be plenty to sample and to buy. And fear not, there will be […]
