How do tantalizing burgers, cajun chicken, gourmet mac and cheese, fish tacos and wood fired Italian pizzas sound? These are just a few of the mouth-watering food options that will be available for you to sample at Tenby’s first ever Street Food Festival this weekend.
Tenby will be introducing its very first street food festival from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th June. Entry will be from 12pm – 10pm and completely free, you can even reserve your space and pick up your free ticket online today!
Street vendors from all over the world will be making their way down to Tenby’s South Beach Car Park. Flavours Inspired from Italian, Asian, Mexican, Spanish and Jamaican cuisine – there will be an assortment of delicious foods from countries all around the world. Serving mouth- watering dishes to cater for any taste and even dietary requirements with gluten, vegan and vegetarian options, there will be something to suit everybody! Below are a few of the vendors that will be appearing at Tenby this weekend.
Pembrokeshire’s X-RAY café – Serving fish tacos, Solva crab bombs, delicious burgers and a selection of delicious fish all ingredients locally sourced.
New York Street Food – A catering company run by childhood friends Craig and Luc. Serving foot long wedges of pizza and bagels, bringing the very best of New York to the U.K!
The Orgazmic Milkshake Company – The Orgazmic Milkshake Company will be providing delicious waffles, scrumptious milkshakes, refreshing smoothies & luxury hot chocolate – they are sure to put your sugar cravings at bay.
Other street food vendors that will be appearing at Tenby’s Street Food Festival will include La Ffroga who serve french style scrumptious street food specialising in all things cheese. They will be offering meat and vegetarian dishes all smothered in gooey high quality melted raclette cheese.
The Grub Shed will be serving their special 21 day aged Hereford Beef Brisket, topped with tangy pickles and homemade slaw,in a tasty brioche bun. Also serving a selection of burgers and flatbreads all their dishes are produced with the finest quality ingredients.
El Marchardor Tacos originally from Yorkshire will be cooking up a fantastic gluten free all vegan Mexican menu including tacos and tortillas. Another allergy friendly vendor who will be in Tenby are Pakora Pod. Pakora Pod make delicious pakoras and curries that are free from wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts – with vegetarian and vegan options also available.
The Original Goodfillas Company who were recently voted ‘Best Street Food in Wales’ at the Welsh Food Awards will also be there. Why not go and try their award winning deep fried folded pizzas this weekend. A ‘Goodfillla’ is a dough based food similar to a Calzone pizza, you can then fill it with a savoury or sweet option. The flavours of the ‘Goodfillas’ are inspired by Italian, Mexican, American, Jamician and Asian cuisine.
There will also be many more street vendors appearing this weekend from all over the country – all with unique and authentic tastes.
Tenby Street Food Festival will also be serving a selection of ice cold drinks to go with your delicious snacks. You will be able to purchase a variety of cocktails and beers and even low abv lager and mocktails for the designated driver. The festival will also have its very own character – Beachy Head; Look out for him as you are wondering around the festival!
With music, amazing food, local craft beer, cocktails and with free entry, why not take a wander down Tenbys South Beach car park and try something different this weekend?!
