Aberfforest is a very special bay on this beautiful coastline, pitted with tiny sandy coves and a favourite haunt of seals and dolphins. Deciduous ancient woodlands run down tiny valleys to the sea’s edge and birdwatchers and naturalists delight in the abundance of wildlife.

The extensive woodlands have waterfalls and secluded leafy walks. The sheltered bay, which can only be approached by the general public over a long footpath, is almost private and has launching facilities. Newport and Dinas Cross village are one and a half miles- a pleasant walk in good weather. Following the Coastal Path to Newport will take you past 2 popular beaches, Pwllgwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys.

The properties are approximately 150 yards from the beach and converted from an original 200 year old farmhouse and stone barns to provide charming and characterful accommodation in this unique setting. The converted barns are characterised by exposed roof timbers and stone walls. Whilst the farmhouse retains slate and quarry tiled floors and enjoys sea views from some rooms. All 4 properties have wood burning stoves for that extra atmosphere on cooler evenings.
