11 St Nons Close is a spacious, detached house tucked away down a residential cul de sac and facing onto a quiet lane leading down to St Non's Bay and the Coastal Path (less than 1 km away). It is just off the centre of the popular tiny city of St Davids. Renovated throughout to a high standard and comfortably furnished; the large open plan kitchen/diner has a wonderful modern fitted kitchen. Having two lounges, the ground floor gives plenty of space for children to relax in the second lounge, while the adults enjoy cosying up round the open fire in the large main lounge. From here French doors lead out to the enclosed paved patio at the back of the house where you can enjoy an alfresco meal. A central staircase leads up to a spacious galleried landing with easy seating and pretty bedrooms reflecting the varying beach and seaside tones.
From the front patio glimpses of the Cathedral remind you just how close you are to one of the country's most lovely Cathedrals and Bishop's Palace, as well as the excellent range of shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries just a few minutes from your door. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is nearby and you can explore some of our finest coastline and beaches, with Whitesands Bay a short drive away. Try your hand at a range of water sports on offer locally, including surfing, kayaking and coasteering or take a trip to Ramsey Island to see the amazing birdlife, seals and puffins.

Solva's Annual Fireworks Display is taking place on Saturday 5th November this year. A firm favourite amongst many, this event is a free event with donations encouraged. The fire will be lit at 6.30pm with the fireworks display starting at 7pm weather permitting. The event will go ahead on the 6th November if the weather prevents the event happening on the 5th. Refreshments will be available from the nearby cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Milford Haven's annual Firework display which will take place on the Marina. This year’s event will take place from 4:30-8:30pm at the Mackerel Quay, Milford Haven Marina, and also include a music concert organised by local radio station 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire. There will also be plenty to entertain the whole family as there will also be a Funfair, Food and Drinks and Stalls. PLEASE NOTE: SPARKLER'S NOT PERMITTED.

Get muddy this Christmas with this festive muddy event! This Mud Run is approximately 8k and takes you through some boggy, muddy areas of coast path and possibly the sea! Pembrokeshire band Honey Fungus are playing a live gig at The Castle Inn, Little Haven this December. The set combines well-known songs with their own acoustic music and stories. Pop along for some great food, a great atmosphere and some quality live music. The performance starts at 9.30pm.
Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
Known to be a very challenging but beautiful course, the Ras Dewi Sant is a full and a half marathon running on Saturday 25th February. The full marathon runs point to point along the coastal path with an entry cost of £35 whereas the half marathon is a loop course with an entry cost of £25. All entry includes a T-shirt, Medal and refreshments including cawl, tea and coffee. There are also first aid stations and changing rooms available for all participants.
A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! The BANFF Mountain Film Festival makes a return to the Torch Theatre this year with another selection of incredible short films showcasing adventures from across the world. There's also the opportunity to win a number of free goodies in a prize draw! Tickets cost £13.50 or £12 for concessions.
Running from the event headquarters at Oriel Y Parc in St. David's, this event sees approximately 1500 cyclists take part in the sportive tour of Pembrokeshire. There are three distance routes covering much of North Pembrokeshire taking you through Fishguard, Newport and Cardigan depending on the distance you take part in. It's a great event for athletes and supporters alike!
The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. This ultra marathon is approximately 66.6 miles in distance, with approximately 40 miles of the course running along the coastal path with the remainder along the road. In 2016, only 6 people managed to complete and receive their finisher's medal so you can imagine the difficulty level of this challenge! The course runs through coastal locations such as Solva, Porthclais, St Justinians, Whitesands, Abereiddy and Abermawr, guaranteeing a really memorable course. Due to the nature of the course, cut off is at 20 hours with 5 check points and all participants will be required to bring along a full kit of the following items: Head Torch, Space Blanket, Whistle, Mobile Phone, Map (Supplied), Water, Energy Food, Hat, Gloves, Waterproof Clothing, Sun Cream. Entry costs £45 per person.
With two different distances available, you can either enter the Middle Distance Ocean Lava event which is made up of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run; or the Wales Triathlon Sprint Distance which is made up of a 750m swim, a 13 mile cycle and a 4 mile run. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!
With a packed weekend of music, literature, sport and food, Solva's Edge Festival makes the most of the local produce and events, and is a great weekend for all the family. The weekend hosts a Battle of the Bands, an open-water swim and a football tournament, plus there is a Beer and Cider festival throughout the weekend. There will also be a variety of stalls, literature talks, raffles and live music. There really is plenty going on this weekend! Held in various locations across the seaside town of Fishguard, this festival occurs annual over the August Bank Holiday celebrating jazz and blues music.
A military fortress, museum and cafe located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The museum at Chapel Bay Fort is illustrated and explains military technology and weaponry through the ages, with a variety of displays including artillery and associated tools and instruments, WW I, Bomb Disposal and Waterloo amongst others. Volunteers are on hand to answer any question and add to your appreciation of the displays.
Guided tours are conducted by a dedicated team of volunteers and provide access to areas of the fort which are otherwise out of bounds to the public. Tours present further information about Chapel Bay Fort and the defences of Milford Haven and the Royal Dockyard at Pembroke Dock, alongside information about the large exhibits displayed on the terreplein of the fort.
A tour lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is included in the entrance fee to the museum.
Great Cottage, well equipped. Loved area, friendly people and great coastline. Forget the car abd get a bus timetable. Buses (especially Celtic & Puffin Shuttle Link St David's to local beaches, coastal walk access points. May easy walks nearby. The Bishops Pub has good beer and food. Saffron Restaurant Ok for Indian meal, dishes seem milder though. 'Shed' well known for fish meals. Will return.

Good weather made our stay even better. Beautiful countryside and house in a good location. Quiet, warm, spacious and comfortable house. Abereiddy, the blue lagoon is well worth a visit. Coastal path slippery due to rainfall but well worth trying as the scenery is spectacular.

What a fantastic week we have had in this beautiful home! The layout, spacious feel and attention to detail are all excellent. The 'play room' has been ideal for our twin girls and we have all felt instantly at home here. This holiday has had special significance for us for personal reasons and we could not imagine a holiday home to stay in to make all of our hopes and experiences a wonderful reality. Thank you! This house is great with space for everybody to do their own thing, but never too far from the huge table,great for eating, puzzles and game playing. We lovely weather- we went to castell Henllys - well worth a visit if you have any intrest in Iron Age history
Number 11 is a delightfully light, spacious, family friendly home. We the Hitchens Family (three Generations) have thoroughly enjoyed our week in St Davids. Childrens snug was very popular, particularly the Lego. Adults liked the books, the quiet yet convenient location and the fact we could walk out the back gate up the hill to see the sea. Alternatively go the other way into town for shopping and the Cathdral. Really sorry to be going home, thank you for comfortable & well equipped accommodation.
This is a spacious, comfortable clean property. the location is perfect, close to all the amenities including the square. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope it is available to book again in September. P.S forgot to mention that the extra touches, WiFi, books, Games etc. Made it feel homely and welcoming

Loved the house, play room TV is perfect for movies and the location is perfect! We did part of the coastal path which was great in the nice weather, the views are awesome! We also did coasteering one day which is great for more adventurous people. As is the jet boat around Ramsey Island - the perfect way to see the seals and sea birds up close. St Davids is lovely, loved all the little shops and the Cathedral. Great places to eat are the Cambrian in Solva, The Sloop in Porthgain and the Farmers Arms in St Davids. Overall we had a great week, definately helped by the location and facilities of the house! Thank you very much!
