About 2 Chapel Bay

2 Chapel Bay is a wonderful, grade 2 listed, Victorian semi-detached cottage. Renovated throughout, it is set down a lane part of which is unmade, right on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, on the cliff top in Angle, above the magical Cleddau estuary with sea views up the mouth of this waterway, within walking distance of the beach at West Angle Bay.

Comfortably furnished the high ceilings and original sash windows ensure a light and airy feel, the fitted compact galley kitchen with all modern facilities leads through to the dining room with open fire and with the double bedroom offering sea views. Stairs lead up to the galleried lounge set in the eaves, the wood burning stove makes it a cosy retreat on chillier evenings and the view over West Angle Bay is lovely.

The rear, unfenced lawned garden provides the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco meal.

Walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path through to Angle Bay. Marvel at the spectacular coastal scenery including the Green Bridge of Wales, there are a wealth of wonderful beaches to explore including Freshwater West popular with surfers and the setting for the blockbuster Harry Potter and Robin Hood movies; Broadhaven South and Barafundle, while a walk round the Lily Ponds at Bosherston should not be missed.

A delightful cottage to get away from it all whatever the season.

2 Chapel Bay has its own private water supply.

Came to Pembrokeshire house hunting. Could live in your cottage! A pleasure to be here each evening. Wonderful nights in front of the fire when the cottage was battered by gales and rain. Morning gulls and that view across the haven! A lovely place.

Firstly thank you for sharing such a lovely gem of a cottage with us, we have had a great week here in Pembrokeshire. The weather has been on our side and the cottage has been an ideal base to explore the area. Loved Tenby and Saundersfoot, walk along the beach and through the tunnels to Coast for a coffee/vino or a meal! Our little one loved the Dinosaur Park and to be honest, so did we!! Lower Town Fishguard is great for crabbing and passing an afternoon, call in to St Davids for fabulous ice cream on your way back. Blue Lagoon near Narberth was a nice morning out followed by a mooch around the shops and lunch in Narberth. Finally, Freshwater West is just beautiful. Its been a fantastic week, we've loved the cottage (my favourite is watching the sun on the water in the late afternoon from the upstairs window - wow!). Thank you.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage! We booked the week to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city (Manchester) and busy work lives. We have really been able to relax here! The cottage has been a great base for exploring the local area and was lovely to come back to after long winter walks. The log burner warmed the place brilliantly and allowed us to get cosy in the evenings whilst watching films and playing games. We will definitely be returning and recommending the place to our friends and family. Thanks again for an amazing week that we will never forget!

The Robertson Family

What an amazing week we have had! As a family we have been coming to Angle for over 20 years (hubby 40 years) and this is the first time being civilised and not in the wilds camping! Beautiful Cottage - very warm at night with just the woodburner going. The kids absolutely loved it - will be coming back again. Feel very relaxed and stress free going home. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.. Its been a blast!

The Pardoe Family

Weather has been mixed this week, but its always lovely to return to the warm welcoming cottage after blustery October days. We have been coming to Pembrokeshire for many years and try and alternate the West and South Coast stays. Its lovely to have sea views and be so close to the coastal path - it makes the say more special when you normally live so far in land! We tried to do a mix of things to entertain our small children - swimming at Blue Lagoon and Narberth for good quality gift shops, walked around Angle and the beach, Stackpole Estate and Lily Ponds, also the cafe at Stackpole Quay and Bosherston, Manorbier Castle and Tenby, Colby Woodland Gardens and Amroth Beach. I think the best trip of the week has been to Marloes and St Martins Haven - walk around 'The Deer Park' at the end of the peninsula. We saw seals and their pups including a new born - one hopefully the girls will remember. Thank you for a lovely stay.
