This October, the popular ghost story of The Woman In Black comes to the Torch Theatre in a great spine-chilling stage play. Arthur Kipps is invited to tell a ghost story and so recalls his past experiences encountering the "woman in black". According to the legends, she haunts Eel Marsh House and every time she is seen, a child dies. What will be the outcome of the ghost story?The play is recommended for those aged 14 and over. Held in St Brides Orchard next to St Brides Bay and the ancient church of St Bridget, St Brides. A fantastic event and opportunity to glimpse inside the courtyard of the original Kensington Castle (dating circa 1500's), to see apple pressing using the orchard's apples and ancient craft skills such as basket/willow weaving and wood carving. Teas, coffees, cakes and jars of homemade jams and chutneys for purchase in our 'Apple Cafe' with all money raised in support of St Brides and Marloes churches. A 10km festive fun run to raise money for broad haven playgroup. Milford's Torch Theatre once again brings a classic pantomime to stage - a must-see for anyone staying in Pembrokeshire this Christmas! Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. With two different distances available, you can either enter the Middle Distance Ocean Lava event which is made up of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run; or the Wales Triathlon Sprint Distance which is made up of a 750m swim, a 13 mile cycle and a 4 mile run. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!

We have had a wonderful short break to blow away the cobwebs of winter. Weather very kind, lovely shots of sunset behind Cathedral & walks to Whitesands Bay & Solva, as well as footpaths around St David's. House was ideally placed for these walks, great to return to at end of the day
Lovely house in a fab location. Had a lovely meal at the Cwtch and Fish & Chips at Bishops was excellent. Weather was brill and some lovely walks locally. Our 3rd visit to St David's, will be back
Excellent coastal bus service, we have not used car all week and have covered Solva to St David's Head coastline easily in 13 year old dog sized sections!! Cottage excellent - peaceful but convenient to all facilities

Wonderful May in Pembrokeshire and we were lucky with great weather if a bit windy. Lots of walking and exploring-went into the sea! and was 6 feet away from a seal, both of us spent 15 minutes staring at each other.
This is our second visit to your home and again a wonderful time had by all. The location is so central to all the beaches we love to visit, Ynys Barri just a short walk from Abberidy, Dale beach wonderful for the children. As my husband said the shops are very close, which I personally found great, not so sure he thinks so!!! Thank you for your lovely home
