About 4 Bay View

4 Bay View is a charming holiday home with the most stunning views. It is the end of a terrace of four houses on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path just yards from the water’s edge of Angle Bay.

The original house retains Victorian features with some high ceilings, original fireplaces and large sash windows, which really maximise the view and the light in the rooms. It has strong historic links to the Angle lifeboat and now includes the attached converted boathouse giving additional space. Renovated throughout, the house is comfortably furnished in a complimentary mix of contemporary and cottage styles. Step into the glazed front porch with easy seating, a lovely spot to sit with a cuppa and admire the wonderful water aspect. The large sitting/dining room is dual-aspect, running from front to back of the house. The front bay window offers super views down the garden across the ever changing scene of the bay at different tides. Enjoy meals round the family dining table where the Rayburn keeps you cosy or relax in front of the open fire on chillier evenings.

From the hall, stairs lead to three bedrooms, one with dressing room/baby’s room, and a family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have views over the fields to the rear while the other has the most wonderful view over Angle Bay and fields on the far shore. On the ground floor, a lobby links the house to the boathouse with its spacious garden room giving extra space with comfy sofa and chairs to chill. French doors open to a paved terrace where you can enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening overlooking the large, enclosed lawned garden and the sea. A narrow, steep, fixed wooden step ladder leads to an studio bedroom nestling in the boathouse eaves. The window with Juliette balcony at the gable end gives an even wider view of the bay. The large garden gives plenty of space for children to play, while also offering different spots where you can sit and admire the water views, or in the back garden steps lead down to a sunken patio offering a sheltered sunny spot in the late afternoon.

Ideally situated, it is perfect for walkers and water sport enthusiasts being right on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, the famous Old Point House Inn is only two hundred yards away and is ideal for a drink and meal, before a beautiful clifftop walk round the headland to West Angle’s sandy beach, with safe bathing, and still less than a mile from home. There is also the beach side cafe, Wavecrest, with a good full menu - lobster salad and more. There are a host of spectacular beaches only a short drive away including Freshwater West, popular with serious surfers, scenic backdrop for movies Robin Hood and Harry Potter. Visit Bosherston with its Ye Olde Worlde Tea Rooms and stroll round the beautiful Lilly Ponds to Broadhaven South beach, or continue round this dramatic coastline on the wellmarked Coastal Path. The area is renowned for the variety of its bird colonies - guillemots, razorbills, cormorants, coughs, gannets, puffins and many more. Take in the Green Bridge of Wales and the medieval St Govans Chapel built in to the cliffs.

Milford Haven is a popular location for those who enjoy sailing and boating - and kayaking and canoeing - and the house is only yards from easily accessible launching sites. There’s also room for you to store your day boat/canoe/kayak in the garden.

A magical holiday home for families or parties of friends to enjoy in all seasons, perfect for exploring this beautiful coastal area, and for sailors, a fascinating mixture of inlet, river or open sea awaits you.

Restricted headroom in the boathouse in the eaves.

Spring high tides cut off access to the property for up to 3 hours, approx 6 times a year.

What a wonderful house, in a great location. We had a very enjoyable long weekend here. Everything was here that we needed. We went on lots of lovely walks and had a very enjoyable lunch at Wavecrest. Also, Freshwater West is a fabulous beach. Can’t wait to come back again and enjoy Angle in the summer

Mrs J Wilson

Wonderful house with amazing views. The walk around the peninsula to West Bay was just lovely. We love to cook ourselves and found the kitchen was very well equipped. Bed was comfy so were the sofas. The little front porch was my favourite place. We enjoyed the log fire which warmed the place up. Thank you for the welcome pack. Many thanks.

Mr Smethurst

A comfortable house with a good family layout. Enjoyed the wonderful beaches and coastal walks. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory well away from the t.v. and scrabble. Food at the Stackpole Inn was excellent as was the café at West Angle Bay.

Mr Harley

Had a great time – Great house in a wonderful location. Beaches are lovely and plenty of places to visit.

The Farmer Family

I had a nice time and I like the house. The garden was good for running in and playing on the grass. The beach had lots of rock pools and shells. I caught some crabs. I had nice food at both pubs. I had a very good holiday.
