The property is approached via A roads to B road. The Strand runs parallel to the sea. Limited short stay parking is available opposite the apartment for decanting luggage etc; the large harbour car park, for which one parking ticket is provided, is within 2/3 minutes’ walk. The apartment is accessed by 14 stairs with a left hand turn at the top. The entrance lobby is small and the staircase is quite narrow. The three bedrooms and en-suite facility are contained on the first floor, as are the sitting room and kitchen. From which the terrace and seating area is accessible by a sliding door. 16 wooden steps, with handrail, lead to a patio with six sun beds. There is direct gated access to 10 concrete steps, with handrail, which lead to a wooden groyne separating the property from the beach. There is a drop to the beach which varies with the action of the tide in depositing/removing sand and pebbles/rocks. Great care should be taken in choosing this route. The public slipway to the beach is only 2/3 minutes from the apartment. A local bus service operates to various parts of Pembrokeshire. The local rail station is called Saundersfoot, but is over a mile from the village.
We have had another lovely week here in your apartment. We enjoyed walking to Barafundle and Broad Haven South beaches. The weather has been great!
