About Ty y Mor

A delightful cottage which is not only in a superb location, but is deceptively spacious and comfortably furnished in a traditional style, step into the lounge/diner with woodburning stove ensuring cosy evenings. From your front door you are virtually on the Parrog beach and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path will take you to the beautiful Newport Sands. At the rear is a private cottage style garden with south facing patio, a veritable sun trap ideal to enjoy an alfresco meal.

A short walk takes you to the heart of Newport with its excellent pubs, restaurants and shops, there is a golf course nearby for the more energetic; explore the picturesque rocky coves of Aberfforest, Aberbach and Cwm yr Eglwys nearby or take a drive for a change of scenery into the dramatic and craggy Preseli Hills, the Iron Age village of Castell Henllys is well worth a visit.

A wonderful holiday cottage, whatever the season.

The property is approached via an A-road. It is accessed from the road over a step in a flood barrier wall. The entrance through the front door is directly into the living room over a very low threshold strip. The living room is open plan with flat tiled floors – divided by open plan stairs into the living area and dining area. This leads on to the same level into kitchen and wetroom/shower. The kitchen door leads into back hall area on same level. The downstairs toilet is also on same level but there is one step down from hall into utility area. All ceilings are low with beams in living room and kitchen. The kitchen is long and narrow with fitted units and low-level oven. Hobs are worktop height. Bedrooms: Leading up from living/dining area is an open plan staircase with handrails either side. This reaches to a small landing with 3 bedrooms and main bathroom, all on same level. Ceilings are low in places. 2 bedrooms contain double beds (one 5ft wide) and a third, 2 single beds. The room with the single beds contains a built-in large wardrobe whilst the other two rooms have freestanding wardrobes etc. The patio area is approached through door from back hall over a flood defence sill. The patio is random slate and the main garden is up two steps from patio level.

The Roach Family and dogs

Loved the cottage, very cosy and spacious and a great location. We have visited Newport for the last three years and love it here, great pace of life and good pubs with good food. Cnapan is a nice treat. Friendly people, great butchers and bread, well stocked shops. We had a marvellous time and are going home feeling refreshed but the dogs will be returning completely knackered. This is without a doubt dog heaven and thank you for letting us bring them.

Mike and Jane

A very nice cottage indeed! A lovely retreat after nine years of camping. Enjoyed lots of walking and bird watching.
