About Agos y Mor

This unique, detached, cottage is situated in a most wonderful location, your only neighbours are the seabirds, badgers and rabbits; a sanctuary from the rigours of modern life. A winding lane leads from the cottage to Caerbwdi Beach, and from there you can follow the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to Caerfai Beach and the city of St Davids to the West, or the pretty harbour of Solva to the East with its shops, pubs and restaurants clustering round this magical inlet.

Renovated throughout the modern fitted cottage style kitchen leads through to a the sunny south facing conservatory/dining area where you can relax or enjoy meals looking down through the picturesque valley to Caerbwdi Cove, St Brides Bay and Skomer Island on the horizon, experiencing the morning light over the bay, and winter sunsets from this room will give you memories to treasure. While the snug sitting room has a wood burning stove to keep chills at bay. The double bedroom also offers wonderful views down towards the sea, while the newly appointed shower room and twin room complete the accommodation.

The outbuildings have been cleverly converted to make a useful utility room perfect for washing and drying all your walking gear. The conservatory opens to a paved path and large lawn, with a secluded paved terrace to the side of the property - the perfect spot to dine alfresco on a summer's evening while you soak up those stunning views down the valley and out to sea.

Enjoy exploring the nearby tiny city of St Davids with its excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, as well as the historical Cathedral and Bishops Palace. The beach at Whitesands should not be missed, popular with families and keen surfers.

Agos y Mor is a delightful holiday retreat in a special and tranquil setting, suitable for any time of year.

A return visit after several years - but worth it for the views. Our first week we had lovely sunshine so we were out and about, but the second week was very unsettled with winds. However, it was great to sit in the sun room and look at the sea and sky - better than any film show! Lot's of birds to see in the valley, with a fox visiting the garden after dark most evenings. We sat in the sun room in the dark mesmerised as he came too and fro. We managed a landing on Ramsey Island in great weather - too see seals & pups in the hundreds. But to be honest, we didn't want to go to far as we enjoyed the tranquillity of the cottage location. Thanks for having us.

Mrs Karen Jacques

Another wonderful week in Pembrokeshire. My first stay in Agos y Mor, my parent’s fifth visit and my sister’s third. Perfect setting for relaxation and some great walks.

Mrs Susan Fisher

Perfect place to stay. Enchanting views, babbling brook and crashing waves.

Mrs Susan Fisher

Warm and welcoming, peaceful and beautiful, as ever. The weather never really matters – the ever changing sea, sky and the islands (sometimes they’re hiding in the mist). We had a wonderful week – the sunny days colouring our faces up ready to go at the end of our happy holiday. We look forward to the next visit.

Julia and Jim

Our third holiday at this lovely bungalow. Enjoyed coastal walking and a trip to Ramsey island. We saw seal pups on walk from Martins Haven to Marloes Sands, as well as on Ramsey Island. Walks from the cottage to Solva were most enjoyable . Newgale and Whitesands beaches are very attractive and seem safe to swim at. We are always sad to leave and will be back.

Sarah, Richard, Rhys and Jessica

This continues to be a fantastic location for a family holiday. We have enjoyed some late summer walking to St Nons and body boarding at Whitesands. Many thanks

The bungalow exceeded our expectations, the website does not do it justice . Like many previous visitors we have been happy just watching the waves from the conservatory and enjoying the peace. Wild life did not show itself , no dolphins, badgers or foxes

Mr & Mrs Jacques

Our best Holiday ever, in the best location ever! What did we like about the cottage?? Everything!! We had many coastal walks , and the fantastic views will stay with us,though we had to rush out and buy some sun cream! When relaxing at the cottage the wildlife reminded us of Snow white: Butterflies, birds, and bunnies everywhere! St David's cathedral is worth a visit, We would love a return trip - thanks for having us!

Mackriell Family

Beautiful cottage and location – just as described. Had wonderful weather all week. Appreciated the guidebook left in cottage. Enjoyed watching a pair of breeding buzzards, and made ample use of bird table (the large rock) outside. Well placed coastal cottage to reach easily the coastal walks.

Froom Family,

Great location and, as for the weather, I don’t think we could have had better. A week spent walking, and watching the wildlife: keep an eye out for the fox in the field in the evenings and mornings.

Barry, Carole and Emma Clarke

What a beautiful cottage! Our first visit to Agos y Mor, but I’m sure it won’t be our last. Weather was patchy, but it didn’t stop us from walking, just sitting in the conservatory and watching the buzzards, pheasant, foxes and ponies and, of course, eating! Lots of good spots for food in the area.

Connie and Jim Smith

A lovely cottage in a wonderful location. The weather has been kind to us, and we have enjoyed evenings in the conservatory, watching wildlife: buzzards mating, a family of pheasants, foxes, lots of warblers. Looking forward to our next visit!

John and Daphne Stephenson

Delighted to have discovered this little gem, which is well placed for walking the coast path and exploring Pembrokeshire. Generally excellent weather, enhanced the positive experience. No sign of foxes, but rabbits early morning, and badgers late evening.

Bellingham Family

Our second visit to Agos y Mor, so we knew what to expect: superb views, peace and quiet, comfortable cottage, just what you need.

Peter & Sue Day

We are sadly packing up and preparing to return home after a truly memorable two weeks in this beautiful place. We were entertained every evening by a pair of devoted but very comical pigeons. A very smart cock pheasant also called each morning to strut his stuff and claim territory on the grass in front of the sun room. Herons flew up the valley and perched on a large hawthorn tree by the side of the stream in the field adjacent. If you are lucky enough to have clear skies at night, do some star gazing - no light pollution - it's amazing to see the moon reflected on the waters in front of the cottage is magical.

Marilyn and Jeff Townsend

Wonderful views and excellent walking. The barn owls have returned every evening in the valley. We are hoping to return here for many years to come.

Eifion, Anne, Andrew and Ellie Breeze

We've enjoyed the views from the conservatory immensely. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the easy access to the coastal path was enjoyed every day! Two barn owls have appeared in the valley next to the cottage a few nights running, hunting in the stream.

Roy and Nunzie Dulson

Love location - walks stunning, even when raining. Cottage - great views.

The Gillmans

Yet another great stay in Agos y Mor. Thank you for a lovely week's watching the view from the conservatory. We hope to be back next year.

The Davies Family

We have really enjoyed our stay in this very relaxing and peaceful cottage, with a most spectacular view.

Neal and Lindsey Stride

Our third visit - just can't stay away! If this is your first visit - be careful, you might have to come back!

Mel and Shiela

The view when we arrived was wonderful, much better than we had imagined. We had thought that we would be surrounded by arable fields, but the valley location separates you from them. The walking is superb. The wildflowers were quite brilliant. I bought a moth trap to record nocturnal moths, and had 75 species in the garden! A great place to stay!

Joyce and Peter Jenkins

It has been most enjoyable staying at Agos y Mor, watching walkers on the coastal path, and birds and the odd mammal on the large stone in front of the conservatory. The night sky is amazing from here. The cottage is very well equipped. We shall have to come again.

The Turveys

Our third visit to Agos y Mor and another fantastically relaxing week.

Chris, Jane, Joe and Ella Letcombe

We've had a great week. We've stayed in Pembrokeshire several times, and this has been the best house and the best location. We shall miss the view.

Sarah and Kevin Bull

We were looking for a cosy cottage, isolated, overlooking the sea, with a real fire - Agos y Mor was exactly what we'd hoped for on our first anniversary

Sean and Lixxy

Beautiful, peaceful, soporific - words don't do this place justice. We hope to return very soon to this tonic for the spirits.

The Nuttall Family

Brilliant views and tranquility. We are regular visitors to Pembrokeshire and this cottage has got to be one of the best locations

The Trueman Family

The view from the cottage is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the view change with sunlight and showers. Don't think we could have chosen a better place to stay.

The Darby Family

When we arrived in beautiful sunshine we were delighted with the gorgeous views over the bay and couldn't wait to begin walking the coast path. Bliss!
