About Anvil House
Anvil House is a beautifully restored and decorated Victorian terraced house, set just 150 yards from Tenby’s seafront and a short walk from the long golden stretch of South Beach.
The antique stripped doors, exposed floor boards and decor all combine to create an atmosphere of quality and comfort. The bedrooms have different styles, most striking being the Rennie Mackintosh themed room. Benefiting from a south facing aspect, the front room and the two larger bedrooms are bathed in light during sunshine hours while shelter may be enjoyed in the rear courtyard.
Located close to Tenby’s bowling green and the historic 5 Arches, guests will be just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Tenby’s harbour side amenities and the town’s shops, pubs and restaurants. A home from home, Anvil House offers the ideal base to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay within one of Pembrokeshire’s inviting towns.

This Access Statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version that we have received. This statement has been prepared as objectively as possible, however with such a wide remit oversights may be made.

The property is accessed via an A-road. The front door is 2 metres in from the pavement and at the same level. It is 900mm wide. The hallway leads via two 15cm steps into the TV room and then through into the kitchen at the same level. From the kitchen you can exit via the double patio door into the tiled rear patio area. On the right of the hallway is the lounge/dining room. The adjoining dining room has a dining table and chairs for 8 people. From the hallway stairs this then leads to the first landing with access to the family bathroom. A further 6 steps leads to the first floor level with access to the rear bedroom which overlooks the patio area. Access at this level also leads to the master bedroom. The staircase continues at a steeper incline to the top floor of the house and provides access at the top landing to two further bedrooms. Both of these rooms are of double bedroom size but full ceiling height is limited in parts. Emergency exit lights illuminate the stairs and hallway in the event of electricity failure. Smoke detectors are fitted in all rooms. (Anvil House is a non-smoking accommodation). Public parking is allowed immediately in front of the house or in the public car park 100 metres away. (Keep clear of the designated residents parking zone on the street) The local bus station is located some 600 metres away, whilst the train station is a further 600 metres.

Its position to the beach, car parking and shopping absolutely wonderful. The house itself was 5 star. It is a mix of modern en-suite facilities and Welsh traditional furniture and culture. What an amazing property. It has much more space than you would expect when viewing it from the street – ideal for family groups. The kitchen is the best equipped we have ever stayed in. Everyone slept well in the comfortable beds and the general standard of everything was extremely high. Didn’t move the car all week as was easy to walk around Tenby and the stunning beaches, loved walking them before breakfast.
