Avalon is a lovely cottage hidden in a valley at the end of a short, unmade narrow lane in Nolton Haven, located in the stunning Pembrokeshire National Park.
It is only a few minutes downhill walk to the beautiful and unspoilt sandy beach - here join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and admire the wonderful sea views over St Brides Bay. The cottage is surrounded by a lawned garden. The shallow stream to one side is fenced.
Comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with the spacious lounge having leather sofas and the cosy bedrooms being well appointed. French doors open onto a large, sunny decked area which is perfect for alfresco dining. The property also benefits from a sizeable porch which is useful for storing wet clothing, shoes and luggage.
Avalon has proven popular over the years with many guests returning and is a must for those seeking a good family holiday in an area abundant with leisure activities including horse riding at Nolton village and for the more adventurous kite surfing at Newgale beach.

This year's Torch Theatre Pantomime is Dick Whittington, the story of a young boy and his cat who journey to London overcoming a wealth of adventures along the way. Written and directed by the Torch's own Peter Doran, this play guarantees a couple of hours filled with fun and laughter. There will be a relaxed performance at 6.30pm on Monday 18th December, specially adapted for those with Autism and other learning disabilities. A British Sign Language performance will take place at 6.30pm on Thursday 21st December. Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.

The ever-popular Eagles tribute band, Talon, are paying a visit to Milford's Torch Theatre for what is sure to be another sell-out performance. The seven piece band have become one of the UK's most successful touring shows and guarantees to include those greatest hits such as "Hotel California", "Life in the Fast Lane" and "One of these Nights".
Swansea City Opera brings their 2018 production, The Barber of Seville, to Milford Haven's Torch Theatre this February. Rossini's famous opera promises the comical telling of a love triangle between Count Almaviva, Rosina and Doctor Bartolo, with added adventures from the town barber, Figaro. Concession tickets cost £18 whilst full tickets cost £19.50
The Torch Theatre Company is proud to present their latest production, The Wood. Directed by Peter Doran, the play follows the lives of two young soldiers who fight alongside each other in Mametz Wood during the First World War. Inspired by a true story, this play was written by Owen Thomas (writer of the award-winning Grav) in commemoration of the centenary of the end of the First World War. Tickets cost £8.50 for under 26's, £13 for concessions and £15 for full tickets.
The Milford Haven Amateur Operatic Society are putting on a show! This year's production is the classic Annie Get Your Gun, the story of country girl Annie Oakley who falls in love with with rifleman Frank Butler after she's made star of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.
This award-winning Torch Theatre Company production returns home in 2018. This one-man play sees Gareth J Bale take on the role of Welsh icon Ray Gravell who is known for his performances on the rugby field. Grav tells the story of the man behind the legend before he died in 2007, at the age of 56.
Wales' only acapella festival, the Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival, returns in 2018 for it's tenth anniversary. Between 4th and the 6th May, Narberth will be hosting a weekend full of performances and workshops celebrating all things a cappella. This Charity Horse and Dog Show is an annual event which occurs in May each year in St. David's. With show jumping, dog shows, stalls and refreshments, this is a great day out for all those interested in horses and dogs!
The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. Rock the Castle is back for yet another year! For it's first event, Pembroke Castle will be hosting The World Famous Elvis Show starring Chis Connor. Since starting out in 2009, this Elvis performer has played to crowds in the Manchester Apollo, Harrogate International Centre and the London Palladium. He has been awarded the title of The Greatest Elvis Tribute in the World by a world-wide fan poll and has even had the pleasure of performing with the original back-up singers to the King of Rock'n'Roll, The Sweet Inspirations. Performing with a twelve piece band and the aforementioned back-up singers, this show recreates two popular Elvis concerts across two hours. Support act will be The Bluejays, a four-piece band formed after working together on various West End shows, who will be playing classic hits from favourites such as Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry.Tickets cost £19.50pp and will be available to buy from the 24th November. The triathlon with a difference is back once again! Spread across the three days, the Wales Swim takes place on the Friday night on Tenby North Beach, the Sportive on the Saturday and the Marathon on the Sunday. Athletes can opt for just one event or all three meaning everyone who wants to can get involved! Children can even get involved on the Friday in the Taff Kids event! It really is a great event with an exciting atmosphere, athletes and supporters are encouraged to get involved for the whole weekend!
A military fortress, museum and cafe located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The museum at Chapel Bay Fort is illustrated and explains military technology and weaponry through the ages, with a variety of displays including artillery and associated tools and instruments, WW I, Bomb Disposal and Waterloo amongst others. Volunteers are on hand to answer any question and add to your appreciation of the displays.
Guided tours are conducted by a dedicated team of volunteers and provide access to areas of the fort which are otherwise out of bounds to the public. Tours present further information about Chapel Bay Fort and the defences of Milford Haven and the Royal Dockyard at Pembroke Dock, alongside information about the large exhibits displayed on the terreplein of the fort.
A tour lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is included in the entrance fee to the museum.
Had a wonderful stay, cottage is a home from home.The area is beautiful, so much to see and so little time to see it all. So we will have to come back, Only problem is we have to go home!

The cottage is lovely, clean and well equipped. Warm and cosy, fantastic area, We had beautiful weather with loads of sunshine. so quiet and peaceful here. We did have trouble with the tv took ages to get it to work. Would be nice if garden fence was more dog proof to stop dogs getting into the stream, We enjoyed our stay and will certainly try to come again. Thank you ps please supply manmade duvets we have a feather allergy

We throughly enjoyed our time in Pembrokeshire-one of our favourite places and it was great being so close to Newgale beach we also enjoyed a short drive to some of the other beautiful beaches-Barafundle, Marloes and Broadhaven. Real suntrap the decking!

A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries, very peaceful and quiet, not overlooked, First holiday with Lucy our dog she loved the sea and beaches, we would definitely come here again,Had good Sunday lunch at Harbour Inn Solva, Day trip to Tenby, Saundersfoot, walked along south beach in a t shirt in October! Also discovered Marloes beach and Druidstone off the beaten track but well worth a visit. The facilities at the cottage are excellent a real home from home, thank you
