Avalon is a lovely cottage hidden in a valley at the end of a short, unmade narrow lane in Nolton Haven, located in the stunning Pembrokeshire National Park.
It is only a few minutes downhill walk to the beautiful and unspoilt sandy beach - here join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and admire the wonderful sea views over St Brides Bay. The cottage is surrounded by a lawned garden. The shallow stream to one side is fenced.
Comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with the spacious lounge having leather sofas and the cosy bedrooms being well appointed. French doors open onto a large, sunny decked area which is perfect for alfresco dining. The property also benefits from a sizeable porch which is useful for storing wet clothing, shoes and luggage.
Avalon has proven popular over the years with many guests returning and is a must for those seeking a good family holiday in an area abundant with leisure activities including horse riding at Nolton village and for the more adventurous kite surfing at Newgale beach.

Milford Haven will host the Welsh Grand Prix for the adrenalin fuelled Powerboat P1 National Championships. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!
Narberth will be hosting their very own Queen bee Carnival on the 29th July, they aim to raise awareness for the important role of bees in our ecosystem. The carnival will display a swarm of worker bees chasing their queen bee down Narberth High Street with their own movable meadow. Entry is completely free and the carnival procession begins at 2pm on Saturday 29 July.
A festival celebrating everything military at Carew Airfirld at Carew Cheriton control Tower. Featuring many exhibits including a Real Spitfure, vintage military vehicles, classic cars, the emergency services, military bands, fairground rides, craft workshops and face painting for the children. he highlight of the event will be the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, who jump on the Saturday afternoon, with the Red Devils, Army Parachute Regiment flying in on Sunday afternoon. Pembrokeshire's County Show returns for another year! This annual event brings thousands of people to the Haverfordwest Showground each year. With a variety of crafts and stalls, there is also displays, exhibitions and performances to see! There is a whole host of agricultural machinery on display as well as livestock to see, a fair, and a number of horse and dog shows. Of course there is also plenty of opportunities to meet and greet with local businesses, as well as sampling some great local produce on offer in the food hall!

Saundersfoot's newest triathlon is back for it's second year in 2017! Running the day before Ironman Wales, this triathlon is a sprint triathlon with a 750m sea swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run. The event is open to adults and children aged 14 and over.
The West Wales Wool Show in Narberth is a celebration of all things woolly. From beautifully hand crafted items, clothing and footwear to knitting wool, fleece and all the equipment needed to make at home. Demonstrations run throughout the day with stall holders sharing their skills and knowledge with visitors plus wool skill workshops such as felting. The main aim of the show is to support local wool producers and small craft businesses. Wool as a renewable resource is still undervalued and the show aims to bring this wonderful natural resource back into focus. The show is run by the Pembrokeshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers with support from PLANED.
Fishguard’s Autumn Festival will be holding a ‘Family fun and Fireworks’ on Goodwick seafront. Pembrokeshire Firespinners will be at the event this year as well as many other fun activities.

A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
A perfect way to start the year, whether you're taking part or just supporting! This event is all in the aid of charity with sponsorship coming from local businesses – everybody really does get involved! Each year they set a fancy dress theme to add to the excitement.
This Charity Horse and Dog Show is an annual event which occurs in May each year in St. David's. With show jumping, dog shows, stalls and refreshments, this is a great day out for all those interested in horses and dogs!
A military fortress, museum and cafe located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The museum at Chapel Bay Fort is illustrated and explains military technology and weaponry through the ages, with a variety of displays including artillery and associated tools and instruments, WW I, Bomb Disposal and Waterloo amongst others. Volunteers are on hand to answer any question and add to your appreciation of the displays.
Guided tours are conducted by a dedicated team of volunteers and provide access to areas of the fort which are otherwise out of bounds to the public. Tours present further information about Chapel Bay Fort and the defences of Milford Haven and the Royal Dockyard at Pembroke Dock, alongside information about the large exhibits displayed on the terreplein of the fort.
A tour lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is included in the entrance fee to the museum.
Had a wonderful stay, cottage is a home from home.The area is beautiful, so much to see and so little time to see it all. So we will have to come back, Only problem is we have to go home!

The cottage is lovely, clean and well equipped. Warm and cosy, fantastic area, We had beautiful weather with loads of sunshine. so quiet and peaceful here. We did have trouble with the tv took ages to get it to work. Would be nice if garden fence was more dog proof to stop dogs getting into the stream, We enjoyed our stay and will certainly try to come again. A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries, very peaceful and quiet, not overlooked, First holiday with Lucy our dog she loved the sea and beaches, we would definitely come here again,Had good Sunday lunch at Harbour Inn Solva, Day trip to Tenby, Saundersfoot, walked along south beach in a t shirt in October! Also discovered Marloes beach and Druidstone off the beaten track but well worth a visit. The facilities at the cottage are excellent a real home from home, thank you
