Avalon is a lovely cottage hidden in a valley at the end of a short, unmade narrow lane in Nolton Haven, located in the stunning Pembrokeshire National Park.
It is only a few minutes downhill walk to the beautiful and unspoilt sandy beach - here join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and admire the wonderful sea views over St Brides Bay. The cottage is surrounded by a lawned garden. The shallow stream to one side is fenced.
Comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with the spacious lounge having leather sofas and the cosy bedrooms being well appointed. French doors open onto a large, sunny decked area which is perfect for alfresco dining. The property also benefits from a sizeable porch which is useful for storing wet clothing, shoes and luggage.
Avalon has proven popular over the years with many guests returning and is a must for those seeking a good family holiday in an area abundant with leisure activities including horse riding at Nolton village and for the more adventurous kite surfing at Newgale beach.

The Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society Christmas Fayre will be happening at the brithdir hall at the county show grounds. The Fayre will begin at 10am and end with a carol concert at 7pm. The Fayre will contain food and festive demonstrations, food stalls, gift and craft stalls, santas grotto, choirs and you will even receive complimentary mulled wine and a mince pie on arrival. This Charity Horse and Dog Show is an annual event which occurs in May each year in St. David's. With show jumping, dog shows, stalls and refreshments, this is a great day out for all those interested in horses and dogs!
The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. The triathlon with a difference is back once again! Spread across the three days, the Wales Swim takes place on the Friday night on Tenby North Beach, the Sportive on the Saturday and the Marathon on the Sunday. Athletes can opt for just one event or all three meaning everyone who wants to can get involved! Children can even get involved on the Friday in the Taff Kids event! It really is a great event with an exciting atmosphere, athletes and supporters are encouraged to get involved for the whole weekend!
A military fortress, museum and cafe located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The museum at Chapel Bay Fort is illustrated and explains military technology and weaponry through the ages, with a variety of displays including artillery and associated tools and instruments, WW I, Bomb Disposal and Waterloo amongst others. Volunteers are on hand to answer any question and add to your appreciation of the displays.
Guided tours are conducted by a dedicated team of volunteers and provide access to areas of the fort which are otherwise out of bounds to the public. Tours present further information about Chapel Bay Fort and the defences of Milford Haven and the Royal Dockyard at Pembroke Dock, alongside information about the large exhibits displayed on the terreplein of the fort.
A tour lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is included in the entrance fee to the museum.
Had a wonderful stay, cottage is a home from home.The area is beautiful, so much to see and so little time to see it all. So we will have to come back, Only problem is we have to go home!

The cottage is lovely, clean and well equipped. Warm and cosy, fantastic area, We had beautiful weather with loads of sunshine. so quiet and peaceful here. We did have trouble with the tv took ages to get it to work. Would be nice if garden fence was more dog proof to stop dogs getting into the stream, We enjoyed our stay and will certainly try to come again. Thank you ps please supply manmade duvets we have a feather allergy

A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries, very peaceful and quiet, not overlooked, First holiday with Lucy our dog she loved the sea and beaches, we would definitely come here again,Had good Sunday lunch at Harbour Inn Solva, Day trip to Tenby, Saundersfoot, walked along south beach in a t shirt in October! Also discovered Marloes beach and Druidstone off the beaten track but well worth a visit. The facilities at the cottage are excellent a real home from home, thank you
