Blake Family

A lovely holiday home: well appointed, clean, quiet, and in a lovely situation. We have been so lucky with amazing weather so we were able to enjoy the decking, fresh air, and warmth from the sun. The people in and around Solva were friendly and helpful. The travel links were great and there are shops nearby to get essentials. All in all, an amazing break away! We were sad to leave. Thank you x

Lesley and Wayne

The bungalow was lovely, and we had such fab weather for walking. We were able to walk to St David's on the coastal path straight from the property.

Bagnall family

The accommodation for us was excellent, and it was in a perfect location that gave us a base to travel over 500 miles round the county during our weeks stay. The off street parking was a great bonus. Thank you.

2nd stay in this beautiful bungalow and place, even better than I remember the 1st time. Had some great Coastal walks, the weather was very kind to us so managed to get out and walk everyday. Used the log burner a few evenings, also got better lighting it after a few failed attempts.

Linda & Allan

4th stay in this lovely bungalow, came for Husbands Birthday, we certainly didn't expect that glorious weather! We made use of the balcony every day and log burner at night. Wonderful walks and quiz at Harbour Inn. Hope to get back here soon, Best house we have stayed in.

Enjoyed a lovely week, at Awel y mor. A well equipped property, lovely and quiet, everything worked well. Excellent location for walking and eating out in Solva. Local shop was very well stocked and reasonably priced.

The Breakey Family

We loved this cottage one of the best we have stayed in. the view from the decking was superb we have walked miles along the coastal path walked from Solva to st Davids and had a lovely evening meal at the bishops pub, then walked from Solva to Newgale and got the puffin 411 bus back. Saw lots of seals and there pups on the small beaches brilliant holiday thanks.

The Gough Family

Thank you for the milk and welsh cakes, what a week! My husband and I both had really havey colds - and we spent a lot of time going to the chemist at St Davids for the first few days. Were it not for the comfort of the cottage we would have gone home. however we made a slow recovery and made sure that we got out every day. The walking in this area is fantastic, we went from Porthgain to Abereiddy, Strumble Head, local walks and a walk around Pentre Ifan. thanks again.

Sherratt

Came here to celebrate my husbands 50th birthsday with 2 close friends, aster a very trying year last year. What a way to start the new year! This has got the be the best accomodation we have stayed in. Beautiful views even in January we were lucky to have crisp but sunny weather. Loved it!

Pullingers

Thanks for the prezzies! We reckon its our fourth stay and it definately feels liek home. Weather windy and some sun. Cambrian has changed hands and needs a visit! Fantastic Roast Lamb!

Shaun and Melanie

This is our first Christmas as husband and wife, and the first time we have gone away for Christmas and it has been wonderful! The accomodation is perfect and better equipped than our own home1 Solva is a beautiful place, with a great selection of pubs - the Cambrian is particularly good for food. thank you to the owners for the welcome gift - the particular brand of fizz has personal significance to us which made it all the more special.

Lynne and Keith Lewis

This is accomodation to return to, pleasent even in our one day of torrential rain. This is an area that never fails to please, something new to see each time we return.

John and Catherine

thank you for the lovely welcome tray and champagne. We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. As others have said, the bungalow is well equipped and we found that we did not have t use half of the 'just in case' stuff that we brought! Despite the forecast we saw little rain and lots of sun! We adore the terrace and we reccomend Cambrian Inn. 35 for the best fish and chips. The shed at Porthgain brilliant too!

The Burtons

A lovely bungalow, loved the terrace which is a little sun trap. Best beaches are Newgale and Whitesands. Ramsey Island is well worth the visit, was stunning and we were treated to seeing seal pups on the Ramsey beaches.

Paul, Naiomi, Adam and Bethany

A lovely fortnight. Beaches at whitesands (nr St Davids) and Newgale are fantastic - although check high tide times for Newgale as the beach disappears for at least an hour either side of high tide. Boat trip around Ramsey Island is also well worth it, if only to see the strength of the tides. So nice ot have a well equipped home away from home.

sue, Pete, Charlotte and Thomas

A lovely house - very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay here. Lovely fish and chips at no35 on the quay in lower Solva.

Dave and Miriam

Many thanks to all concerned for providing such comfortable, well equipped and well cared for accomodation. Arrived on a day of pouring rain so the welcome tray was particularly appreciated. After that the weather has improved daily and we were able to enjoy all the spectacular coastal walks. Every path around and within Solva was a plesure and everywhere very welcoming. We loved every minute, thank you! Especially impressed with the bus service - fits well with the walks

Sue, Pat and Laura

We have been very comfortable here, the house is well kitted out and has been beautifully done up inside and out. It has been brilliant looking out to sea as we potter about the house and for us long distance walkers, than constant supply of hot baths has helped us to keep our legs moving. For something a bit different we reccomend Duridstone Hotel - on the cliffs a bit further on from Newgale. A lovely relaxed atmosphere with locally sourced fresh food art works and books. Thanks for a lovely time!

Neil and Ros
