Bangeston Farmhouse is a magnificent fusion of quality, design and genuinely environmentally sustainable building and decorative solutions, creating a highly efficient and eco-friendly holiday home. The lawned and paved garden features a wood burning hot tub; from here holiday guests can see the wildflower roof, sown with grasses and wildflowers. The Cedar hot tub is heated by a log burner. This will require 3 - 4 hours of heating to bring the hot tub up to temperature. You will need to keep refilling the burner during this time. There are no jets, just the lovely sound of crackling wood. Rainwater is harvested for the toilet and washing machine, solar panels heat water, wood pellets fuel the boiler and a state of the art heat exchanger circulates fresh, warm air throughout the house, this, combined with triple glazing and thick insulation, heats the first and second floors. Furnished in a contemporary style that beautifully enhances the retained original features with A frame beams, reclaimed slate floors and rich handcrafted carpentry throughout which will only delight.
The location is fantastic too; East Angle Bay is 750m from the house, where you can join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. It is mostly a pebble beach which disappears at high tide. There is the odd patch of sand, but it is mostly a lovely place to look at shells and sea life. Enjoy the peace and quiet, watching the boats passing by while the pretty, sleepy village of Angle is a further short walk from here. The sandy West Angle Bay is just over 2 miles away. Enjoy a coffee or lunch at Wavecrest Cafe over looking the sea.
In 2009, Freshwater West (only 1 mile away), one of the wildest beaches in Pembrokeshire, famed for its surf and long, golden beach and high, sheltered sand dunes became a film set for not just one blockbuster but two!! Namely Robin Hood and the new Harry Potter movie - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Follow the drive down an unmade track to Bangeston Farmhouse where, surrounded by woodlands and fields, you will encounter a truly amazing property with the Wow factor.
Care is needed in the grounds as some unfenced drops.

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The hot tub was a new and wonderful experience for us! The house had a nice feel and we liked its eco-friendly nature. The beds and sofas were comfy and the house is well equipped. Great location, we loved the bacon baps at Freshwater West. Marlows Sands and Barafundle beaches all amazing in the sunshine. A fantastic place Paul. Thank you for being a great west. The hot tub time machine was a total winner and a great kitchen to our mini 5000. My little boy loved finding blackberries and little hiding places.
Perfect end of holiday week, we'll all go blissfully back to school with sand in our hair. Freshwater west proved to be all we needed. Surf school was amazing.
Such a lovely place, had a great weekend. Don't have the stroganoff from the Hiberia Inn, just a heads up! Next time we will get the hot tub hot! Great amount of plug sockets.

Awesome, such a brilliant break in such a brilliant place with such brilliant company. Pure luxury, I feel so relaxed. Thank you so much!
Thank you for a lovely week in your fab farmhouse. We were warm and cosy in the evenings and it was gorgeous when the sun was streaming through the windows. We visited losts of lovely places including Freshwater West, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Broadhaven, Whitesands, St Davids, Solva, Newgale, Barafundle, Blue Lagoon water park and Folly Farm. First time in this area but we will definitely be back.
Have had a lovely week. We liked Broadhaven and Freshwater West. Lovely food at the Old Point House and great crabbing. Mackerel fishing at Tenby.
We enjoyed the hot tub, place was fantastic. Lots of space.
Freshwater West beach – idyllic. Walk to it from here along the Coastal Path. Do the coastal walk from here to West Angle, 2 hours were challenging but gorgeous. Got cut off by the tide at the Old Point House pub so they took us across the bay by speed boat to save our roast potatoes. What a brilliant place.
Gorgeous house, it felt like home. We were very reluctant to travel far because we were so happy lazing and hot tubing. You will be highly recommended to friends and family.
Gorgeous place, wonderful people. Good luck with a fabulous venture.
