About Broad View

Broad View with its wonderful sea views is a modern detached holiday home, tucked away on the edge of the seaside village of Broad Haven, yet only a few minutes’ walk from its beautiful sandy beach.

Comfortably furnished in a contemporary, yet relaxing style, there are two spacious bedrooms, bathroom and ensuite on the ground floor while stairs lead up to the open-plan living space located on the first floor to make the most of the glorious views over St Brides Bay and hillside. The master ensuite bedroom also offers wonderful views over the headland. With a modern, fitted kitchen, dining space and comfortable sofas, there is plenty of space to relax. French doors open to the wrap around balcony allowing you to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine while you soak up the sea views. The balcony to the rear provides a perfect, sunny sheltered spot with privacy and views over the fields to the sea.

Set up a shared single track sloping unmade drive, it is conveniently located with restaurants, pub, cafes and a well-stocked shop all within walking distance on the seafront at Broad Haven. Spend your days on the wonderful long sandy beach, ideal for children, or why not try your hand at one of the water sports on offer from the hire shop, all within an easy walk. At low tide, walk along the beach round the headland to the picturesque village of Little Haven, also with a selection of pubs and restaurants to try all clustered round its pretty inlet, popular with sailing enthusiasts and kayakers. Alternatively, take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline with its pretty sandy coves, to the south lies the Dale peninsula while to the north is Nolton, the popular surfing beach of Newgale, with Solva and St Davids a little further. A beach ride at Nolton is sure to be the highlight of any holiday.

Approached from a B-road then approxiamately 300m from the seafront. There is space for 2 small cars directly outside the property on level paved area. Cars can also park at the bottom of the lane but not directly on the lane, as to block access to other properties. Access to the property is from a steep, zig zag, single track unmade road, which has an acute switchback half way up, it is not possible to drive round this bend or turn round, it is necessary to either drive up the first half, pull forward and reverse up the second half and park on the pull in in front of the house or do the process in reverse, so reverse up the first half, and then go forward up to the front of the house. To leave you cannot turn round you need to repeat the process. Balcony extends around three quarters of the property with decking at the back, overlooking a field with patio furniture. Ground floor facilities include two bedrooms, one ensuite, bathroom and washing/drier cupboard. The double bedroom has a step down into it. First floor facilities include master bedroom with ensuite and living room/dining room/kitchen with access to balcony. Kitchen has work tops, fridge, freezer, microwave and low-level oven. Well-lit living room/dining room, natural and artificial lighting. TV operated by remote control. External lighting switch to front of property on balcony. Guide dogs welcome. Public transport, local bus service, approximately 300m to bus stop.
