We have been coming here for many years now, but never this time of year. The wildflowers not only in the garden but in the fields and on the hedges are beautiful. Tenby beach is great for dog walking all year round. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will keep on returning!

Our 2nd visit to Castle View - lovethe peacefulness, lovely walks right from doorstep. Had really hot few days, forced us to stay at cottage but not a hardship as everything that we need is here! Delicious food and wonderful viws at Lawrenny Quay and Slebech park. Daily walks around The Castle mill and stopping off at Carew Inn, perfectly relaxing!

I have been twice already with Zara and friends so came back with the family and dog. We all loved it. Love the walk to the Mill pond over the fields.

A lovely, cosy, comfortable return visit to Castle View. The weather was mostly dry, and the sunny days were a bonus. Obie enjoyed a daily morning run at Freshwater East and it was great to revisit Barafundle and Narberth. A couple of circular walks (including a pleasant walk around Tenby) Obie is exhaused! We'll be back. P.s thanks for sorting the WIFI (much more reliable now)

Lovely cottage, comfortable and cosy. Very , very well - appointed. Far more equipment than any other cottage we have stayed in. Really appreciated the little 'touches' like logs for the fire, info on visiting, games and books for wet weather, mugs for tea instead of cups, lots of glasses, and most importantly, comprehensive guidance folder. Thank you we have had a wonderful stay.

Loved the use of broadband & beds were really comfortable - hope everyone enjoys the lovely cottage as we have.

Sarah, Alan & Peggy the choc lab

What a fab holiday we have had, fantastic weather & perfect for walking. Highlights include seal pup watching around Marloes, Martins Haven & the Angle peninsular. Nice but long walk to Lawrenny from here. This cottage has been great and we love Pembrokeshire.

Shaw family

First visit to Pembrokeshire, loved it, cottage ideal. No TV signal all week and no laptop for the broadband- PERFECT, a total switch off and ideal for relaxation. We all slept for England. Great to see the kids enjoying the countryside, they made friends with the two horses up the road, meeting up straight after breakfast & before bed. In between we had some tremendous days out. Tenby ticks all the boxes and the trip to Caldey Island was lovely.

Adams family

Lovely time, great location. Really enjoyed watching birds in the garden & great walks down to the mill for crabbing & back at twilight, watching the bats. Weather genereally lousy although the boiling suf at Freshwater West was quite a sight. Have joined Lamphey bakery appreciation society (donuts division)!

Holme family

We thought the cottage was lovely and very comfortable. The children's toys were well used and our two loved the garden! Our best day was Bosherton Lily Ponds followed by a swim from Broad Haven South beach. Had a lovely week!

Cathy, Daniel & Rory the hound

Ruth, Brian & Ewan

Thank you for the use of your cottage. We've had a fantastic family holiday here, a much needed break & time to relax & unwind. The cottage is very cosy & homely with comfy beds & sofas. Set in a fantastic & v peaceful location, the cottage had everything we needed & was a good base for sightseeing the local area. We've enjoyed visiting Tenby & Saundersfoot but particularly enjoyed the beach at Freshwater East. Folly Farm was wonderful, our little boy had a great time & we loved bottle-feeding the baby goats. We had great meals at the Carew Inn & Qube in Tenby(great fish dishes).

Juliet, Freddy & Poppy the dog

We love everything about this cottage! The character features, rural yet central location & large sunny garden. The weather has also been amazing! Highlights of our stay include Barafundle beach with lunch at the Boathouse tea room, Stackpole Quay. Also the 1 mile walk around Bosherston lily ponds to Broad Haven South beach was pretty & we enjoyed visiting Pembroke castle. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Liz, David, Rachel & James Mendham

Had a fab week in this lovely well-equipped cottage. This really is the cottage with lots to offer-close to the castle/mill for picturesque walks, a lovely patio for breakfast/sunny evenings- we used the barbecue too! A great central location for trips to all of South Pembs and the Carew Inn within walking distance. The bakery in Lamphey really is the best we've ever been to - superb doughnuts!! Among the many wonderful places to see, Colby Woodland Gardens at Amroth is worth a visit. A lovely cottage, thank you very much!

Hilary Courcha

Arrived to find loud noise coming from the neighbours- mooing, baaing, chirping etc! Went to bed and couldn't sleep for at least 10 seconds!! Fantastic cottage, second time in area, great. Milton fish shop and store 10/10.

The Northovers and Thompsons

We have had a lovely stay at Castle View- the weather despite poor predictions was sunny and we have enjoyed many a glass of wine on the terrace! The fish shop at Milton is excellent- or if you fancy finding the fish at its first stop you can get early to the Milford Dock, Milford Haven where it's straight from the boat! The Farm shop(Four Seasons) on the Tenby to St Clears road is worth a visit as is the fabulous bakery at Lamphey. For a super crab sandwich it must be the Quayside at Lawrenny- excellent veiws too! Sad to be leaving!

Chris & John Rischmiller

We love this cottage and its wonderful location. We've had a great time and don't want to go home. We will definitely be back.

Mr & Mrs Thomas

Don't want to go home, it brought a lot of memories back for me. Enjoyed the wood stove, you've got it all just right, hope next time we have a longer stay.

Bob Barton, Lucy Moore & Missie

The best cottage we have ever stayed in. Pub food is amazing and staff very friendly. Walks & surrounding area breathtaking. Don't even have to use car if you don't want to. Very central location to go to places but also very peaceful. All you can hear in the morning is the birds singing. Farm shops at Milton & Yerbeston Gate are excellent value for money. The meat is fantastic and we took loads home to Dorset with us. Missie loved the garden as if it was her own. We shall all be sorry to leave but hope to be back soon. This cottage will be first on our list.
