Daisy is a charming cottage, one of a pair set down an unmade lane on the owner’s 10 acre smallholding, nestling in rolling countryside on the edge of the village of Llanfallteg, right on the Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire border.
This comfortable cottage overlooks a pretty courtyard, adjacent to the owner’s house. You are welcome to wander the surrounding fields when not being grazed by sheep, as well. 2 steps down or level access leads to a sunny terrace in front of the cottage, the perfect spot to relax or dine alfresco.
Furnished in calming neutral tones, the open-plan living space with wooden floor and comfortable sofa leads through to a compact, but practical fitted kitchen with super rural views over the fields and mature woodland beyond, the 2 pretty bedrooms and bathroom complete the accommodation making this the perfect escape for just a couple or a family.
Dogs and children will enjoy the space to run in your own enclosed, large meadow style garden, with a picnic bench where you can dine alfresco overlooking the fields with woodland and pond beyond. With a storage shed for bikes and outdoor gear, as well as washing off facilities, it is ideal for keen walkers and cyclists who will enjoy exploring the sleepy lanes and footpaths, while the bird and wildlife will amaze in this lovely rural spot. The picturesque village of Llanfallteg has a strong local community and regularly holds social events, there is a small village pub within walking distance in the village serving food, as well as a children’s play park.
Conveniently situated, it is the perfect hidden spot from which to explore all that both the Counties of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthen have to offer. The stunning coastline is deceptively close with Amroth the closest. Enjoy time on this long sandy beach, take to the national Coastal Path to really appreciate the beauty of it on foot. Pubs and restaurants on the sea front offer refreshments overlooking the water, while the popular picturesque seaside towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby are a little further on. The bustling market town of Narberth is only 5 miles away with its range of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, delicatessens and antique markets. Enjoy a night out at the Queens Theatre or for a treat book a meal at the Grove Hotel. There are a host of family attractions nearby with Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Manor House Wildlife Park and Heatherton World of Activities among the popular choices, while golfing enthusiasts can try Heronsbrook Golf Course just outside Narberth. To the east explore Carmarthenshire, follow in the footsteps of Dylan Thomas with a visit to his home town of Laugharne, be amazed by the 25 miles of golden sand at Pendine, and Pembrey Countryside Park is a popular attraction blending countryside and coastline.
Daisy Cottage is perfectly positioned within easy reach of attractions yet offering a wonderful escape to the countryside.

Had a great week here in Daisy Cottage. It has everything you need. Very well set out, and handy for lots of places. Seen so many beautiful beaches during our stay and ate a few times in the local village pub. We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much for a lovely stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable accommodation. The dog really enjoyed being able to run off lead in the fields. We visited a lot of beaches during our stay here. We particularly loved Pendine beach, which seemingly went on forever. Great chance to relax and unwind after two very hard years. Would love to come back.
Yet another fabulous stay at Daisy Cottage with some great weather. Swam at Broad Haven several times which was wonderful. Thankyou so much for the wonderful stay, we love it here.

We have enjoyed our holiday at Daisy Cottage. It has been a lovely, restful stay. Lovely to watch the ducklings from the kitchen window and the squirrels playing from the living room. An ideal place for exploring, and Sharon and Andy are excellent hosts. We hope to return in the future, thanks!

Anna - Ages 12 I really enjoyed staying in Daisy Cottage. I loved my bedroom and the living room was cosy. I thought it was really sweet how you left some goodies for us in the basket.

We cannot thank the owners enough for letting us stay in Daisy Cottage at very late notice. We feel quite honoured to be the first paying guests! It's been so peaceful here, lovely not to hear anything but birds singing and the occasional 'Baa' from our woolly neighbours. We felt very comfortable and were made to feel most welcome. We wish Sharon and Andrew all the best for the future and hope all of their hard work pays dividends! We will definitely be back! x
