Drift Cottage is a semi-detached cottage, deceptively spacious, set on the edge of the popular sailing village of Dale with its waterside pub, The Griffin, yacht club with restaurant and water sports centre all within walking distance. Steps lead up to this comfortably furnished cottage with a traditional feel in beach tones. The large picture windows ensure it feels light and airy and maximises the views. The cosy lounge has an open fire, while the dining room opens to a sheltered sunny patio ideal for an alfresco meal with steps leading up to the steeply, sloping lawned garden with woodland beyond. Both the lounge and the twin room above enjoy lovely views over the fields to the Castle and down the valley. Enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine on a summer’s evening while you relax on the bench on the front lawn, soak up the view and watch the world go by.
Explore the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the beautiful sandy West Dale beach is within walking distance, while the glorious beaches of Musslewick and Marloes Sands are within 3 miles. A boat trip from Martins Haven to the Islands of Skokholm and Skomer are well worth a visit, with the varied bird and wildlife, the puffins are sure to delight. The sheltered Haven waterway is ideal for sailing enthusiasts and water sport lovers.
