Fferm Ty Uchaf is probably one of the most perfect spots for a holiday. Nestling on the south side of Garn Fawr on the Strumble Head peninsula in a small lane, within 300 yards of the most magnificent coastal view and Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Fferm Ty Uchaf is a cosy, characterful and comfortable home. Built over 250 years ago of traditional stone, the house has been carefully renovated to a high standard, retaining Welsh cottage features of open beamed ceilings, stone walls and a stone fireplace, and yet provides all modern conveniences including a "shaker" style kitchen. There is a large lawned area to the rear and a sunny, sheltered front garden. Adjoins Ty Uchaf Cottage 20294.

Stunning cottage – very well equipped. Grew up down the road so this area gives me a lovely warm feeling inside. It never changes and it is home. The cottage was the perfect base.
Lovely cottage, fantastic location next to the coastal path. Can recommend the café at Woollen Mill for great bacon rolls. Enjoyed lots of great walks.
Great cottage, great location, extremely lucky with the weather. Definitely come back here again.
We love Pembrokeshire and it has been great being able to walk along the coastal path so easily. We have walked around Strumble Head and to Abermawr beach. Highly recommend Abermawr for a local beach, and both The Shed and The Sloop Inn at Porthgain. Thank you.
A wonderful, sunny week. Cottage comfortable (nice bed!).
Bounced around in this ideal getaway cottage. Relaxed and it was a respite from the coastal walks. Nice to return to somewhere that hasn’t changed. Thank you
Enjoyed our favourite views and beaches, having been to Pembrokeshire several times over the years. Recommend The Shed in Porthgain, Blas at Fronlas in Newport, Cwtch in St Davids, café at Melin Tregwynt and Mannings in Fishguard. Peaceful and quiet.
Fab week, beaches, walks and wonderful views. St. Davids is a cosy village but busy at campsite was great.
Wonderful week in this gorgeous cottage. Beautiful views from the coastal path, happy days on the beach and a fantastic place to escape from hectic, busy lives.
Our 4th visit to this part of Pembrokeshire – we love the peace, beauty and wildlife. Introduced the grand-parents they are now smitten too! The cottage was perfect for all six of us. Highlights were the Strumble Head walk, wildlife boat trips with Falcon – saw seals, pups, sea birds including garrets, and porpoises.
Fantastic location, walked from Fishguard to Trefin on the coastal path, what a delight. Weather terrific, beaches wonderful. All in all, a great holiday.
Lovely cottage. Peaceful location, beautiful walks – dog loved them too :) Teenagers loved a horse ride on Nolton Beach.
Thank you :) Visited all our favourite places, saw 15 types of butterfly in one day on Strumble Head. Lovely!!
Another great year at the cottage enjoying Pembrokeshire.
Delightful cottage well placed for walking the Coast Path, our current challenge. Spring flowers a delight, saw Peregrines, Kestrels and other sea birds, plus 8 seals.
Our third visit. We love this place! Will be back…
Great location. Lots of walks and wildlife.
We love Pembrokeshire and it has been great being able to walk along the coastal path so easily. We have walked around Strumble Head and to Abermawr beach. Highly recommend Abermawr for a local beach, and both The Shed and The Sloop Inn at Porthgain. Note that the coast path is much easier from Strumble Head towards Goodwick! Thank you.
A wonderful sunny week. Cottage comfortable (nice bed!)
Bounced around in this ideal getaway cottage. Relaxing and it was a respite from the coastal walks, we still ache. Nice to return to somewhere that hasn’t changed. Beautifully presented. Thank you
Enjoyed our favourite views and beaches, having been to Pembrokeshire several times over the years. Recommend The Shed - Porthgain, Blas at Fronlas - Newport, Cwtch – St Davids and the café at Melin Tregwynt. Also Mannings in Fishguard. Peaceful and quiet.
A lovely cottage and great holiday.
A week of blue skies and great walks in the Preseli's and the along coast. Very comfortable.
Wonderful week in wonderful Pembrokeshire. Dolphins seen out Strumble Head, Seals, porpoises, ravens. shear waters, fox but sadly no badgers.
Cosy cottage, lovely walks. Thanks.
Very enjoyable week, weather turned out fine. Great walks and beautiful scenery even saw porpoises off Ramsey Island.
Fabulous holiday in a fabulous cottage! We've all enjoyed it. Loved the boat trip to St Davids and Kayaking at Fishguard. Great to return to area and find it just as brill.
A lovely week with great weather for walking and cycling. Many seals by Strumble head.
Thank you for another lovely stay in Pembrokeshire.
Superb coastline from Strumble Head to St Davids. Marloe sands not to be missed. Stackpole lovely. Great cottage, great weather, great holiday.
Wonderful walks, very comfortable cottage. We were lucky with the weather, stunning views, flowers and birds. A great holiday. Thank you.
21 years here and counting on many more. Again, despite the weather an inspiring break in a comfortable cottage surrounded by wonderful scenery.
Perfect cottage!! Absolutely stunning, plus fabulous walks and coastal views. The best holiday of our lives. Four generations of ladies.
We came, we walked, we ate lobster for our anniversary, we almost swam, we even lay in the sun in the lovely sheltered garden. Could have been mid summer!
A lovely week - perfect spring weather days on the beach, coastal path walks and general relaxation. Perfect setting. Thank you.
We had a fantastic week in this cosy cottage. Did two walks on Coastal Path - in sunshine! Went to St Davids, Fishguard and Llangrannog. Thank you very much.
This is our 6th visit here which speaks for itself. We all love this area and come rain or shine it is both stimulating and relaxing. Diolch yn Fawr.
This was our 4th visit to Pembrokeshire but our first stay here. The cottage has been a firm favourite with everything you need. The scenery is beautiful and the weather has been fantastic. Thank you.
A lovely comfortable cottage and beautiful coastal scenery. We had a great week.
We've had a great week. Lots of fun on the beach at Abermawr and Aberbach and beautiful coastal scenery. Cottage very comfortable and cosy. Thank you.
A very comfortable cottage and an enjoyable and relaxing week holiday. Thank you.
Our first holiday in school time now one back from Uni and the others just finished their GCSE's! We loved the local walks from the woollen mill to Abermawr and had a super week exploring new places.
Back for our umpteenth time in this cottage, the flowers this year were fantastic. Mixed weather but fabulous walks every day. Cottage is so comfortable and well equipped. Thank you so much.
Lovely cottage, comfortable and very peaceful. Fasntastic weather, sun everyday. Wonderful cliff and woodland walks. Wild flowers have been breathtaking. Sadly travelling back.
Our 20th early May beach holiday in Pembs and one of many here - our favourite cottage. We are so glad it remains a lovely place to stay and appreciate the owners responses to our suggestions last year. Hope to have many more visits in the future.
Another lovely week in our favourite place.
We really enjoyed walking along the coastal paths and the cottages were nice and cosy each night! The cottage was nice and clean and was perfect for we were looking for.
Lovely location and beautiful cottage. Great to see the baby seals! Thank you!
Brilliant holiday, packed with activities and fun. Cottage was a brilliant place to put our feet up at the end of the day. Thanks for making it what it is now.
A very relaxing stay at Fferm Ty Uchaf again (3rd year) . We recommend the Voyages of Discovery boat trip around Ramsey and seal spotting at Strumble.
A great cottage - perfect for what we needed. Stunning weather all week. We've had a really lovely holiday. Thank you for a comfortable home for the week!
100% sunshine! Not a single cloud the entire week and over 20 degrees every day! Wonderful, we snorkelled, swam, ate crab, lobster (The Sloop Inn, Porthgain!) and had an amazing week - thank you, love the night sky - beautiful!
Has been a wonderfully peaceful light and restful cottage - great as I've had to recuperated. Coastal path has been fantastic for Sue. Thank you for making it such a comfortable home. The weather has been tops which has blessed us too.
Thank you so much - we love all the new additions to the cottage. It feels much loved, my daughter likes the paining in the main bedroom. How each colour is in each of these sections. A comfortable, quiet home and some good weather! Just what we needed. Even though I had lots of work to do with A levels I have still really enjoyed being away from the business of normal life. I especially liked the walks and scenery and the wildlife we saw.
Fab holiday - lots of lovely walks for us - gorgeous spring flowers and plenty of interesting things. Comfy, cosy cottage - a lovely, relaxing base. Thank you.
Lovely cottage - great location for heading off for walks in the morning. Seals, fox, badgers and variations of bird spotted.
Having stayed here at this time of the year for many years we have had yet another wonderful week of walks, relaxation. Lovely that Ty Uchaf remains the same - cosy, clean and just right for us. Thank you.
Loved our holiday, plenty of beaches to run on, lovely walks, stress free - wonderful.
Beautiful cottage, wonderful location, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect holiday!
We loved the cottage, very cosy. Fantastic beaches, stunning scenery, seal pups and porpoises - who could ask for more! Marloes Sands beach is awesome! p.s. "Something's Cooking" in Letterston - top fish and chips and the bannofee pis is yum!
This is our second year running that we've had a short break at Pwllderi. This is a lovely cottage, very homely. We've had some bracing walks, lovely fish and chips at Letterston and a nice "posh" bacon buttie at The Sloop Inn at Porthgain. We've relaxed by the lovely warming woodburner whilst watching Downton Abbey. All in all a perfect break to re-charge the batteries.
A beautiful place to spend Christmas. We love this part of Wales and will always return. Thank you for the warm welcome.
We love the area and this cottage has welcomed us again. The walks at hand.. the headland at Pwllderi, Strumble Head,Garn fawr, Abermawr.. will inspire everyone.
Love the layout of the cottage and its position near the coast path.
Most enjoyable. The cottage is cared for and loved and made us feel the same.
Idyllic is the word for the cottage, the coast and in our case 6 days of glorious unbroken sunshine. Places too many and too beautiful to mention. Have stayed in loads of cottages all over the UK but this has got to be the nicest. Thanks for having us we had a wonderful time.
Had a lovely sunny week with just one day of wind and rain. We saw loads of wildlife along the coastal path - seal, peregrine, chough, buzzard, kestrel, stonechat - very impressed with the peregrines - saw about 5 altogether. Great cottage with lovely wood stove to collapse in front of after all the walking. Oscar definitely appreciated it! Hope to come back soon.
If we erect a wendy house in the garden in 24 hours and have smoke coming out of the chimney - can we stay?
The wind and waves roared and we felt secure in the cottage. I liked the velux window curtain - like a sail, no draughts made it billow though! We love Pembrokeshire and as always enjoyed the coast and hills. I have a holiday cottage so it is interesting to stay in someone else's! We've been very comfortable. Sheila Finlayson, Bucks, daughter Kate, Shropshire and Hebe (canine companion!)
