Forty Winks is a delightful, spacious, detached bungalow enjoying an elevated position with wonderful views of the sea in the popular seaside village of Freshwater East. Ideally positioned, this beautiful sandy beach is within a short downhill walk on a footpath through the dunes and the welcoming pub is only yards from your door.

Comfortably furnished to a high standard throughout in a contemporary style, the lounge with its wood burning stove ensures a cosy feel even on the chilliest evening and offers a view of the coast and is perfect for relaxing after a busy day on the beach. The second lounge gives further space for children to play, the country style modern fitted kitchen with farmhouse table is well-equipped to prepare family meals. The spacious bedrooms are welcome retreats with super crisp white linen and the bathroom and separate shower room have been stylish finished. There is a useful utility room and large glazed porch, gives plenty of space for all your walking and beach equipment.  

Set in its own, enclosed garden, the front lawn is perfect for enjoying an alfresco meal on a summer's evening while you soak up the view out to sea, the rear garden with its rural aspect is more sheltered with lovely rural views to the Preseli Hills and gives room for children to let off steam.

Conveniently situated with the popular village pub only about 100 yards away or a sandy path leads down to the glorious sandy beach, popular with families, children will enjoy spending their days on the beach while boat lovers can take advantage of the slipway. For keen walkers join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore this beautiful stunning coastline on foot. There are plenty of glorious beaches to explore including Barafundle, Stackpole Quay and Broad Haven South. The best way to reach this is on foot following the footpaths round the Lilly Ponds, while surfers and water sports enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to Freshwater West, the setting for a number of blockbuster films including Harry Potter and Robin Hood. There is a beachside pub, Jacks at The Longhouse, in Freshwater East or venture further afield to the highly recommended, Stackpole Inn, which was featured in a recent Hairy Bikers TV show, while there is a well-stocked village shop garage and pubs in the neighbouring village of Lamphey or for that special occasion enjoy a spa at the Lamphey Court Hotel.
