The property is approached via a narrow lane off the main village through road. Parking for 1 large vehicle - 4x4 or 2 smaller cars on the drive plus additional parking in the garage for 1 small car. The driveway is at direct road level. The house is approached via steps both front and rear doors - (approx 6 and 8 steps respectively). A handrail is available to the rear doorsteps. A low wall provides guidance to the front door steps. Internally all ground floor accommodation is on one level, with the exception of the conservatory. Double glazed conservatory accessed via 1 step from sitting room. All ground floor rooms have hard-floors – tiled/timber. Well-lit reception rooms are at ground floor level. All bedrooms are at first floor level. TV and other entertainment equipment are all operated by remote control. A gently sloping garden is found to the front of the house, generally laid to lawn and planted beds. The gravelled path and patio are found to the side and front of the house, leading off the conservatory. External manually controlled lights installed to the front, rear and side of the house.
We didn’t think Four Oaks could get any better, but that was before we saw the new kitchen/diner! The home is as beautiful as always and you really have thought of everything. A perfect location, we have filled every day with coast and beach walking but had many days no needing the car – a real treat. Our 6th stay and it will not be our last!
Fabulous stay here once again. Our third time in your lovely house. The kitchen/dining room is great – a massive improvement. We had great weather, so mainly a beach holiday. We love it in Saundersfoot.
Lovely week spent in your beautiful holiday cottage, accommodation excellent, cleanliness superb, we have really enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Our fourth time at Four Oaks! Wonderful! House improvements are fantastic, although the weather was at times, unkind – we had a great time (Folly Farm and Dinosaur Park) and great meals at The Mulberry and Kookaba. Looking forward to next year!
