About Four Oaks

Four Oaks is a beautifully renovated, characterful family holiday home with super sea views, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Saundersfoot and its glorious beaches. Steps lead down into this light and airy quirky detached house, the modern newly fitted kitchen has been opened up into the dining room, perfect for preparing family meals and enjoying the wonderful views over the village. French doors from the dining room open to a paved terrace and have views towards the sea. The spacious sitting room with its original wooden floor and fireplace ( plus gas fire ) is a cosy retreat to relax in while double doors open to the sunny conservatory where you can soak up the stunning views out to sea. French doors lead out to a gravel terrace where you can dine alfresco with steps down to the large sloping lawn which gives plenty of space for children or pets to play.

The original pitch pine stairs lead up to the bedrooms and a shower room on the first floor - the dual-aspect master bedroom is very spacious with stunning sea views and includes a vanity unit and 2nd TV. The 2 other bedrooms are nautical style and very comfortable.

Ideally located, just a few minutes walk down the hill takes you to the centre of this bustling seaside village with a range of shops, pubs and restaurants to explore. Spend your days on the glorious sandy beaches, try your hand at a watersport, or take a boat trip from the harbour. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is on your doorstep or take a stroll through the tunnels to the neighbouring villages of Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth, where there are plenty of beachside restaurants and pubs where you can enjoy a meal or a pint to refuel ready for the walk back. To the west lies the medieval walled seaside town of Tenby with its quaint cobbled streets, picturesque harbour and beautiful sandy beaches. A boat trip to the monaistic Caldey Island should not be missed. Follow the coast along to take in more wonderful beaches including Manorbier, Freshwater East and West. There really is something for everyone with a host of family attractions to entertain children including Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton County Sports Park, as well as a choice of golf courses.

Four Oaks is a super spacious holiday home whatever the season.

This Access Statement has been prepared by the owner for your information; it is the most recent version that we have received. This statement has been prepared as objectively as possible, however with such a wide remit oversights may be made.

The property is approached via a narrow lane off the main village through road. Parking for 1 large vehicle - 4x4 or 2 smaller cars on the drive plus additional parking in the garage for 1 small car. The driveway is at direct road level. The house is approached via steps both front and rear doors - (approx 6 and 8 steps respectively). A handrail is available to the rear doorsteps. A low wall provides guidance to the front door steps. Internally all ground floor accommodation is on one level, with the exception of the conservatory. Double glazed conservatory accessed via 1 step from sitting room. All ground floor rooms have hard-floors – tiled/timber. Well-lit reception rooms are at ground floor level. All bedrooms are at first floor level. TV and other entertainment equipment are all operated by remote control. A gently sloping garden is found to the front of the house, generally laid to lawn and planted beds. The gravelled path and patio are found to the side and front of the house, leading off the conservatory. External manually controlled lights installed to the front, rear and side of the house.


We didn’t think Four Oaks could get any better, but that was before we saw the new kitchen/diner! The home is as beautiful as always and you really have thought of everything. A perfect location, we have filled every day with coast and beach walking but had many days no needing the car – a real treat. Our 6th stay and it will not be our last!


Fabulous stay here once again. Our third time in your lovely house. The kitchen/dining room is great – a massive improvement. We had great weather, so mainly a beach holiday. We love it in Saundersfoot.


Lovely week spent in your beautiful holiday cottage, accommodation excellent, cleanliness superb, we have really enjoyed our stay and will be back.


Our fourth time at Four Oaks! Wonderful! House improvements are fantastic, although the weather was at times, unkind – we had a great time (Folly Farm and Dinosaur Park) and great meals at The Mulberry and Kookaba. Looking forward to next year!
