Foxhole Cottage is set in one of the most privileged positions on the Pembrokeshire coast - directly above Whitesands Beach. This warm and comfortable cottage has been tastefully decorated and enjoys all the modern amenities. Step inside the property and you can see the sea from all west facing windows, the wood burning stove ensures a cosy feeling even on the chilliest of evenings. Designed for romantics, imagine looking out through the French windows of your double bedroom to the luxury of your own private patio with panoramic views of Whitesands Bay, Ramsey Island and the Atlantic beyond. There is an enclosed lawn to the south facing front, together with a hide-away cwtch that’s been built into the hedge overlooking the beach; the surrounding fenced farm field provides plenty of space for children to play. Enjoy meals alfesco on your paved terrace looking out over the beach with the whole bay spread out before you or hideaway in the little cwtch where you can sit on the rocks and enjoy a morning coffee or evening sundowner, while you soak up the view.
Whitesands Beach, one of the best in the world, a short walk away down a winding lane, popular with surfing enthusiasts, both beginners and professionals alike with a beachside cafe. Take a boat trip to or around Ramsey Island to see the amazing bird and wildlife. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore this stunning coastline, climbing up Carn Llidi. The tiny city of St Davids with its shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries, as well as its Cathedral and Bishops Palace is only a short drive away.

You can catch usually a glimpse of Steve at work in his Studio, located behind the Gallery.

This October, the popular ghost story of The Woman In Black comes to the Torch Theatre in a great spine-chilling stage play. Arthur Kipps is invited to tell a ghost story and so recalls his past experiences encountering the "woman in black". According to the legends, she haunts Eel Marsh House and every time she is seen, a child dies. What will be the outcome of the ghost story?The play is recommended for those aged 14 and over. Booking in advance is recommended, tickets start at £8.
200 voices unite at St Davids Cathedral for A Journey of World Music on Saturday 15th October. This concerts stars the Hywel Girls' Choir and Hywel Boy Singers, the Llanelli Choral Society, the Haverfordwest Male Voice Choir and the Angelicus Chorale. Music will include songs such as Ave Maria, the Hallelujah Choras, Nessun Dorma, Aida's Grand March and Phantom of the Opera. The concert begins at 7.30pm and booking in advance is recommended. Held in St Brides Orchard next to St Brides Bay and the ancient church of St Bridget, St Brides. A fantastic event and opportunity to glimpse inside the courtyard of the original Kensington Castle (dating circa 1500's), to see apple pressing using the orchard's apples and ancient craft skills such as basket/willow weaving and wood carving. Teas, coffees, cakes and jars of homemade jams and chutneys for purchase in our 'Apple Cafe' with all money raised in support of St Brides and Marloes churches. Entry to the Apple Day event is free - a wonderful day out, even if its raining.

A 10km festive fun run to raise money for broad haven playgroup. Milford's Torch Theatre once again brings a classic pantomime to stage - a must-see for anyone staying in Pembrokeshire this Christmas! Take the children, the grandparents, the next-door neighbours - take everyone you know! If there's still tickets available that is! The baby Princess Rose is given a curse from the evil Maleficent stating she will die on her 16th birthday but her Fairy Godmother steps in and Rose instead falls into a deep sleep which can only be broken by a handsome prince - this is sure to be a fantastic production by the Torch Theatre once again! Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! Refreshments are available on the street and in the surrounding pubs and restaurants. This event is free entry, donations are appreciated as any money given is then put towards next year's celebrations.
A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. With two different distances available, you can either enter the Middle Distance Ocean Lava event which is made up of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run; or the Wales Triathlon Sprint Distance which is made up of a 750m swim, a 13 mile cycle and a 4 mile run. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!
Yet another lovely stay in Foxhole cottage, Not quite wall to wall sunshine but only one cold day of rain, We saw plenty of sunshine, to brighten that stunning view, usual cliff walks enjoyed. Good food at the sloop and the bishops, and even better at the Cambrian in Solva and best of all at Craig Glas country hotel between St Davids and Aberieddy, wonderful Lobster from Abercastle cought that day.

Foxhole cottage has been a lovely place to stay, we love White sands and Pembrokeshire and we have enjoyed staying so close to the beach. The location is perfect, we were able to walk down to the beach for evening walks and visit many other places we love, we always visit it when we come down, so have enjoyed being so close. The cottage is so comfortable, all the rooms are well fitted and everything has worked well we love the atmosphere here, and the views are stunning. Thank you, we've had a lovely stay.
We had the best time! Never seen the sea here so blue! We walked the coastal pathand made use of the buses to get us back - excellent service. We spent lots of time on the beach on looking at it from the house who could tire of that view! and the waves wonderful! going home restored and relaxed couldn't ask for more!
Another wonderful week at Foxhole some cold winds but no rain, lots of Sun, did the usual, beach, coastal path, fishing . excellent lunch at the Sloop Porthgain and a very peaceful afternoon at Porth Clais. love what you have done with the garden and the new chairs are fabulous. sorry we had to call you out John. We will be checking the new website see you again soon I hope! PS, Alex thinks its awesome and Leo liked everything.

Back again at Foxhole. Had a fantastic Christmas. The cottage is really toasty and warm, and the shower is magic. The best cottage in Pembrokeshire for spending the winter months. I would suggest an early morning walk over to St Davids Head to watch the porpoises feeding off the headland; and look out for the Merlin along the way!
We love it here! Thank you once again – we have had a wonderful time.

What a relaxing week! Beautiful sunny and dry weather – but cold! We have yet again had a lovely time and enjoyed Foxhole enormously. Do try the coffee and ice-cream from the shop in the beach car park – both are delicious. All the people in the shop and the car park are really very very nice. Thank you.
What a fantastic week: best weather we have had for 10 years down here. This is still our favourite cottage we have stayed in, hence why we’re booked for next half-term. Can’t wait until next time!
