Genoa is a large, modern, detached house, set on a quiet residential lane in the village of Penally, its elevated position ensures the most panoramic views over the coast towards Caldey Island and out to sea.
This upside down house is beautifully finished to a high standard with a stylish contemporary look. The sloping drive leads up to the ground floor where the master bedroom makes a welcome retreat with patio doors opening to a paved terrace and sea views.
The open plan living space on the first floor is stunning and glazed from floor to ceiling. Sliding doors open to the large balcony, the perfect spot to dine alfresco or enjoy a drink on a summer’s evening while you soak up the sweeping coastal views over the dunes towards Caldey Island and Carmarthen Bay. The modern fitted kitchen is perfect for preparing family meals while the wood burning stove will keep you cosy on the chilliest of evenings. A 10 minute down hill walk will take you to Tenby South beach, its long stretch of golden sand is ideal for children but also popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts. In the village of Penally there is a well-stocked shop and 2 pubs to choose from all within walking distance.
The popular walled medieval seaside town of Tenby is only a few minutes drive away with its picturesque harbour, cobbled streets and range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as 3 other sandy beaches. Take a boat trip to visit Caldey Island home of the Cistercian monks. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline, to the west lies Lydstep and Manorbier each with their own sandy beach or to the east is the bustling village of Saundersfoot and the smaller Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth each with pubs and restaurants overlooking the beach and sea.
There are a wealth of family attractions nearby including Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm and Heatherton Country Sports Park. While for golfing enthusiasts Trefloyne Country Club golf course or Tenby Links Golf Club are both worth a visit.
