Approached from A477 then approx 1 mile of narrow country lanes. Cottage is accessed by 5 bar gate into gravelled parking area (1 space on own drive) at end of cottage garden. Main entrance (cottage back door) reached via picket gate to level path through cottage garden, down three 2” high steps leading to patio; door to left of spa. Guests can be met on arrival by owner, who can assist with luggage. Enclosed garden is mainly lawned with patio furniture; spa and barbecue down low steps on patio; swim spa is accessed by ascending three 10” wooden steps and stepping over spa rim. Ground floor facilities are split on 2 levels: upper level includes sitting/dining room, main bedroom and bathroom/overhead shower/whb/wc; lower level includes kitchen and second bedroom. Overhead shower is equipped with handrails. Two separate access points between levels each have three 6” high steps; the hall access point is equipped with handrails; safety gates can be provided. Kitchen has extensive work tops, peninsula sink/drainer and low level oven. Well lit sitting/dining room, (natural and artificial lighting). TV with internet operated by remote control. External lighting at main entrance operated by external switch. External lighting system to front of property automatically activated at dusk. Emergency exits on upper level to front (owners driveway) via corridor to front door and two sets of French doors in sitting/dining room. Guide dogs welcome. Closest public transport is 1.5 miles away downhill on country roads.
