Goat Street Cottage is an end of terrace cottage. Whilst the cottage is around two minutes’ walk from the centre of St Davids, the hill is quite steep. On arrival in St Davids, you can pull up outside the cottage to unload your car. The cottage has side access and an enclosed courtyard garden; so is ideal for storing bikes, surf boards etc and for dogs. We don’t have private parking. We suggest that visitors try to park in the Pebbles, leading down to the Cathedral, which is parallel to Goat Street; with a pedestrian path between the two roads by the Bell Tower. (We are usually able to do so, even in the busy months). Free parking is also available up Bryn Road, off Goat Street) with some seasonal restrictions. Alternatively, there are two public car parks, Merrivale below the cottage and Quickwell Hill. The front door opens into the hallway, leading to the open plan living room/dining room, kitchen and utility room, with no steps. The living area is carpeted, the dining room has slate tiles. The garden is accessed by the utility room. The gravel garden is sheltered; with a central path leading to the seating area. The garden table, which seats six, is on a raised area of gravel, a six inch step up from the path. Upstairs is on two levels. The large bathroom is located on the first landing, with a handrail up to it. There is a large bath and a separate shower cubicle. The three bedrooms are on the same level, six steps up, with a handrail. The master bedroom has a king size bed, whilst the twin room has two single beds. The small bedroom is best suited to a child or small adult. A stairgate is provided in the walk-in cupboard should it be required for small children or dogs. There are outside lights both at the front and rear of the property.
Just to say the cottage is as beautiful as ever and thank you so much for the welcome gifts and the flowers are gorgeous!!!
