Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery, an island nature reserve, dramatic cliffs, clear blue sea, maritime flowers. See bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic grey seals, seal pups, harbour porpoises, sea-birds, rare choughs and skylarks. Meet all our friendly farm animals including Dilwyn the donkey, pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, Shetland ponies, Welsh mountain ponies and rabbits. They also have some friendly animals from further afield, such as, Australian 'Bruce the Wallaby'; Vietnamese pigs (Kune Kune pigs) and piglets; emus and Llinos the llama. They also have a Indoor Games area for Wet Weather which has a pool table, table football, quiz machine and more. Children can have extra fun in the adventure playground, sand pit, picnic areas.

New Quay's Blue Flag Award-winning, harbour beach is popular with many visitors. It's pale sand and clear water makes a picture perfect setting for a relaxing day in the sun. Its fabulous cafe serves hot and cold drinks, light snacks and sells many of the usual beach accessories. Toilets with disabled access and a shower are available at the top of the footpath that leads down to the main beach. Ample car parking is available around the village, all are ticket machined. There is additional disabled parking available above the main beach, but get there early as it is limited. Dogs are banned between 1st May and 30th September, and dog bins are situated along the beach.
The Pizzatipi is a unique restaurant and bar situated in the historic town of Cardigan, North Pembrokeshire. Run by four brothers, this restaurant is all about homemade pizzas and fun. All the pizzas are handmade then woodfired, with sides such as salads and breads available. Craft beers, delicious wines and great coffees are offered to accompany your meal. Unfortunately, gluten free bases are not offered currently. Reservations are not taken but there are plenty of tables available.

Head to Castell Henllys this October to learn all about the night's skies. Astronomers will lead talks, experts will teach you all about the various constellations, and you can even learn all about how to take your own pictures of the night skies. Opera Teifi this year are presenting their production of the classic musical, Carousel. Carousel tells the story of carnival barker Billy Bigelow who falls in love with millworker Julie Jordan. When things start to go wrong, Billy makes some poor choices in an attempt to right things. A popular classic amongst many, this musical contains the favoured song, "You'll Never Walk Alone". Performances start at 7.30pm every night from Tuesday 22nd until Froday 25th. Tickets are £12.50 each.

This year, Cardigan is celebrating Christmas with a bonanza of festive celebrations spread over a whole fortnight! There will be late night shopping, pop up events and free parking throughout the town on Saturdays. The fortnight kicks off on the 3rd with the Lights Switch on, and there will be a Festive Fireworks Display on the 9th December. A Giant Lantern Parade will also be held through the streets of Cardigan between 7pm and 8pm on the 9th. In the true festive spirit, there will be a Christmas Fair in Cardigan Castle on the 10th and 11th as well as Cabaret at the Small World Theatre on the 16th. Head to Cardigan Guildhall on the 17th to meet real reindeers!

Head to Theatre Mwldan this Christmas and see the ever-popular tale of Peter Pan in panto! In traditional pantomime style, this classic tale will star the Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinkerbell, Wendy, Michael and John. Of course, no production of Peter Pan would be complete without an appearance from some Indians, mermaids and the Lost Boys! This production comes to you from the Cardigan Theatre amateur dramatics group. Admission tickets start at £7 per person, booking is advised.

Amy Wadge and Luke Jackson, two generations of singer-songwriters, come together in this performance at Theatre Mwldan. Any Wadge has established herself as one of the country's most successful singer-songwriters with a large portfolio of compositions and performances under her belt. She has even worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, being the co-writer of one of his best-selling singles "Thinking Out Loud" which won her a Grammy along with a BRIT nominations. Luke Jackson is a rising young singer-songwriter who has been nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award. His talented voice and great guitar skills have seen him perform acoustic sets supporting the likes of Oysterband and Show of Hands as well as playing The Great British Folk Festival. This performance begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £12.
Celebrate Burns Night with a real Scottish treat in Moylegrove this January. You can dine on Scottish dishes including haggis, tatties, neeps and clootie dumplings. There will also be entertainment including pipers, musicians and folk singers as well as a slide-show of north-west Scotland. This event starts at 7.30pm at Moylegrove Village Hall (the old school).

This live production tells the tale of Welsh actor, Richard Burton, from his humble beginnings to his Hollywood fame. The story tells of his relationship with the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, as well as his experiences with wealth and fame. Burton is a live theatre production with Rhodri Miles of Game of Thrones fame starring as a young Richard Burton. It has received critical acclaim at two Edinburgh Fringe Festivals (2009 and 2014) plus at the 2010 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets start from £3.
Children's classic tale, Pinocchio, is brought to life this February with Cbeebies Patrick Lynch telling the story of the famous puppet. The performance begins at 2pm and tickets start from £8.50. The show is suitable for children aged 5 and up.
Oysters 3 are made up of the three founder members of folk-rock band Oysterband. This March, Oysters 3, are treating Theatre Mwldan to a fresh performance with acoustic songs you may recognise from their lengthy career and stories which give an interesting insight to the history of the band. The Preseli Beast is an off-road racing event, still a relatively new event as it is only in its fifth year now. Approximately 24 miles off road, this race takes in a route through wooded valleys, trails and paths taking in scenery across the Gwaun Valley and Newport Bay. Opt for a smaller race with the Beast Bach, an 11 mile off-road race, or rise to the challenge of the Ultrabeast - a 32 mile off-road race! The start and finish are in Maenclochog, with the Ultrabeast kicking off first at 9am.
2017 celebrates Penlan's third year of festivities set in the peaceful woodland setting. There will be craft stalls, refreshments, live music, open mic, and competitions such as the Annual Song Writing Competition.

Join Gwili Steam Railway for their Midsummer Celebration this June! This year, they are celebrating midsummer with High Tea and Prosecco at their Vintage Tea Party. Vintage dress is encourage for this celebration which will take you back in time as the steam train passes through the Welsh countryside. Adult tickets start at £25 which allows you to travel on the trains all day if you wish to.
Head to the Gwili Steam Railway near Carmarthen on the 16th July when they will be hosting their annual display of classic cars. Vehicles on display will include classic cars, motorcycles, buses, steam locomotives, commercial vehicles and agricultural vehicles. You can also visit their 1910 fully restored working signal box, ride the heritage steam train as many times as you wish and tour the fully restored 1950s travelling post office. Light refreshments are available all day, and there is also a picnic area for you to take advantage of.
Cardigan's annual Quays Festival is held each year in August and celebrates the culture and heritage of the North Pembrokeshire town. A busy weekend, there will be entertainment, activities, craft stalls and refreshments available from a whole host of local producers.
