Sandra & Caden & nana

Well what can I say? Gorse Cottage you did not disappoint us. I came with my 9 year old son and his nana from a village between Newport & Cardiff. I have not been to this part of Wales before and we had superb weather the whole time. We stopped off in Tenby on our way down and settled into the cottage without a hitch. Next day we headed to Barafundle Bay and the walk along the beach along the headland was lovely and we collected driftwood. We also visited St Davids. We went rock pooling on Broad Haven beach. Location is perfect, cottage is perfect. Fish & Chips from the Ocean Cafe was lovely too. Thank you for our lovely stay at Gorse Cottage. I am sure we will be back soon. February 2018

Rita & Tracy

Spent an enjoyable week, exploring St Davids, Amroth, Colby Woodland Gardens, Stackpole, Bosherston and many other places. Cottage was a good base for our travels. May 2018

We have had a fantastic few days here in Pembrokeshire. We visited Skomer Island, Pembroke Castle and Folly Farm. The cottage was a super base – well equipped and very comfortable beds. Would definitely return. Thanks for your hospitality. April 2018

Jane, Rebecca & Stanley (woof!)

After visiting Broad Haven for a number of years we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Gorse Cottage. Fantastic location close to the beach and all the amenities we needed. The car we didnt use much as we enjoyed roaming around the village and Little Haven. Was also able to enjoy the surf on paddleboards! Enjoyed our day out to St Davids, Solva and Newgale yesterday. We will be back !! Best Wishes September 2018

Frances & Trevor

We have had a lovely week in Pembrokeshire. Cottage very comfortable, warm and clean. St Brides Inn in Little Haven well worth a visit – excellent food and staff welcoming and efficient. Excellent location as a base for all our days out. June 2018

Mr & Mrs Donaldson

We have had a lovely week in Gorse Cottage. Very comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time on the beach and made use of the buckets and spades in the shed! We had a lovely meal in the Galleon in Broad Haven. Had a great time at Nolton Haven beach – quiet and secluded. Dinosaur land was great for the kids. Supermarkets in Haverfordwest were handy for everything we needed. Had a lovely ice cream at the Ocean Café. We drove to Tenby and had a nice day there. Overall, we had a lovely here. It was great to show our kids the sea for the first time and be close enough to go down all the time to let them run around and explore ! June 2018

We want to say thank you for providing an ideal place for our holiday. We have had a great time , feeling very much at home here. We were so comfortable and well provided for with the pleasant kitchen/diner, lounge and fitted bedroom. We had no problem filling our time with some of the suggested walks and visits. Thank you for the notes which added to the memorable visits to Little Haven and Barafundle Bay – amazing! Also loved the board walk/pond and woodland walk and coastal path circular walk. July 2018

Judith & Bill

We have had a glorious week here in Pembrokeshire. Gorse Cottage is in a brilliant location and is very comfortable and caters for all our needs. We have walked the coastal path, walked around Bosherston Lily Ponds taking in Broad Haven South and Barafundle Bay – magical! Can recommend the new Italian Sunshine restaurant – staff very efficient and friendly. We called in at a café and enjoyed coffee and cake sitting in the sunshine looking over the fields to the sea. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in your cottage and we hope we can visit again very soon. July 2018

S & C

How very special to have a summer week here with the Clarke's opposite and whilst the weather has been mixed its been a most welcome break from the searing heat of the south east! We arrived on sunday to find the grass here green and lush as opposed to our crispy baked patch at home! We slept well falling asleep to the sound of the sea is such a pleasure. We visited Dale and Marloes. Lazy Broad Haven days. The sea temperature is as good as it ever gets so the challenge to swim in the sea everyday was achieved! Druidstone extra lovely. We feel very lucky to be able to call this 'home' when we stay here.

Beryl, Lynda & David

A short but very pleasant stay, thank you. Clean, cosy, comfortable, lots to explore in the area. We enjoyed being able to just wander down to the beach whenever we felt like it. Had some nice meals in the area - nice sunday lunch at the Old Kings Arms in Pembroke. September 2018

Jones family

What a lovely cottage – we thoroughly enjoyed calling this place home for the week. We have enjoyed exploring Pembrokeshire from scrambling round on the rocks from Broad Haven to Little Haven to coasteering and kayaking on a peaceful and beautiful ocean. Body boarding at Freshwater West is something you should do in the future. It is beautiful and feels like you are flying when you catch a perfect wave.If you are looking for a nice evening meal out, the Galleon is a nice place to go – the mussels for starter were delicious. An alternative is going for a full English breakfast in the café in Trefin. We are already planning on returning here next summer, but we might try and time our visit with the tides a bit better. Best Wishes. August 2018

Mr & Mrs Jackson

Cottage lovely as usual! Good weather most of the week. Hopefully we will be back next year, possibly a bit earlier in the year. Best Wishes. October 2018

"And then there were 5!" For the first time in a good while we have been a 5 again in Gorse though, as life often does, a curveball thrown on Sunday meant a rather unusual arrangement spread over 2 houses. Stunning autumn weather at the weekend took us all out to help out on a beach clean on Newgale. The day was faultless in every way until an unlikely slip on the stones led to a broken ankle. Withybush were fantastic but it meant one of our party was confined to the sofa, meaning all social gatherings were spend in the cottage, which as ever expanded to fit in up to 13 for shared suppers, late breakfasts and afternoon tea visitors. This place is just fab !

The Warden Family

Couldn't of asked for anything more anyone with youngsters should definitely visit folly farm , its worth every penny. hopefully we will be back very soon! Thank you for making our holiday a carefree, relaxing one.

Duncan, Heather and boys

Gorse Cottage was the most wonderful host to our stay for New Year. High tides, fireworks on the beach and meals at the fabulous Druidston Hotel made our New Year celebrations very special. Gorse Cottage is just a home from home. Hope you are all surviving the high winds and winter weather.

David and Alison

Never having been to Pembrokeshire before, we have fallen in love with the area and this lovely cottage. Amazing weather, glorious beaches and the cute and intriguing puffins on Skomer.

Caroline, Martin and Max

We have stayed in Broad Haven for the past 4 years and love it. This is the nicest and best equipped property that we have stayed in, perfect for us.

Scott and Sally

Gorse Cottage has proved to be the find of the year. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time.

Mary, Julian and Deborah

Wonderful weather, wonderful walks and a wonderful cottage. We particularly appreciated the books and maps and a decent sized teapot! Your suggestions and comments about where to go and what to see were also great. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us. We hope to be back next year.

A busy but enjoyable week of late evenings, Family gatherings and seasonal celebrations. And between all that we managed to fit in seeing the New Years swim in Saundersfoot. We fed birds by hand at the Bosherston Lily Ponds and then ate at the Govern Arms. Our usual mulled wine at Druidston Haven was lovely. As always this lovely cottage has accomodated our family gatherings this time including Mum, Sister and brother.
