Greenala has been in the same family for over 65 years. Built in the 1930s, with the most wonderful sea views through the pretty wooded valley at Manorbier, it retains the air of a bygone era.
The house is spacious and has a pleasant and large lawned garden with exceptional views of the church and castle. The main living areas and most bedrooms enjoy sea views.
It has a well lived-in atmosphere from its simple traditional kitchen and original, modernised bathrooms to the impressive stairway, oak floors, antiques and spacious rooms - all providing a wonderful home for a family near to the historic castle, beach, Coastal Path and village facilities.

First Floor: Double room/king size bed/ensuite bathroom/overhead shower/whb/wc, 2 twin rooms/whbs, family bathroom/shower cubicle/whb/wc, single room/whb.

Heating: Gas central heating available on request @ £50 per week

Approached via an A-road then approximately 1 mile to the village and the house is a few hundred yards up a narrow lane. The car park is accessed via large wooden gates that have to be opened manually. There is ample parking for 4 cars. There is a local bus service in the village. External security light over the parking area operates after dark. The threshold has a small 2” step up, there are 2 doors, main entrance door is up a low 6” step. The doors are a generous width. The garden that surrounds the house has numerous steps, and the lawns run steeply downhill. Access to the patio is via one 1’step down through a narrow doorway or around the side of the house via a step down and then a few steps up. There is one access point to the garden that does not have steps, via the vegetable patch. The house is arranged over 2 floors, is spacious and airy. Ground floor facilities include kitchen and small breakfast room, dining room, sitting room and toilet, which is possible to accommodate a wheelchair but tight to get around the door. All rooms are interconnecting on one level. All bedrooms are up 3 short flights of wooden stairs. There is one shower which is over a bath. The house is very light in the day and there are some reading lights in the sitting room and bedrooms. TV with remote control. WiFi throughout.

We have had a fantastic week. we recommend Pembroke castle, Bosherston and Carew castle. Good food in the local cafe and Plantaganet in Tenby. We'll be back!

A great first visit to Pembrokeshire, topped off with cracking accommodation. Instantly fell in love with Greenala and Manorbier and we're sure we will be back in the years to come as there are still more adventures to be had here!
