About Gwestyr Wennol

Gwestyr Wennol is an instant home from home that has recently been refurbished throughout to include a hot tub. Set within walking distance of Aberfelin cove, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and Trefin village pub, yet secretly hidden away down a private driveway in a sunny sheltered setting of lawned gardens.

Comfortably and stylishly furnished in neutral colours of nature with Melin Tregwynt touches. Step into the spacious hall which links everything together, with two sitting rooms there is plenty of space to relax, the main one looks out over the sunny, sheltered lawn garden while the second is more of a cosy snug with a dining table, the wood burning stove is sure to add a cosy feel.

The new contemporary kitchen is a super space to cook meals and leads through to the stunning modern shower room, while the three comfortable, spacious bedrooms with fresh white linen are welcome retreats, the master enjoys the same glorious views over the garden and valley. Along with the newly fitted family bathroom, this completes the accommodation.

Enjoy dining alfresco on a summer’s evening on the paved terrace with fire pit to the rear of the cottage overlooking the large lawn, there is plenty of space for children to play and adults will enjoy wonderful evenings in the hot tub, relax and let the aches and pains wash away as you marvel at the view or enjoy the stars twinkling overhead, the dark skies are stunning here.

There is a village pub within walking distance or take a stroll to the beach Aberferlin with its picturesque sand and shingle beach with rock pools exposed at low tide. Take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline on foot, there are many coves and villages to be discovered including Abercastle, Porthgain and Abereiddy with its famous Blue Lagoon.  15 minutes by car will take you to the historic tiny City of St Davids with its wonderful Cathedral and Bishops Palace. Whitesands, named officially one of the best beaches, is highly rated by families and surfers both professional and beginners, it has a hire shop and seasonal beachside cafe for refreshments.

In the other direction, just over 15 minutes by car takes you to the harbour and market town of Fishguard with its range of pubs, galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants to try, as well as a leisure centre and local cinema. This whole area has been used for several major film sets including Moby Dick and Under Milkwood, and there a number of events held over the summer including regattas and music festivals.

Gwestyr Wennol is a high quality holiday home, an ideal base to explore Pembrokeshire, once you arrive leave your car behind and enjoy a slower pace to life.
