Jasmine Cottage is 1 of 4 quaint cottages in a terrace tucked away on a side street, in the heart of the tiny city of St Davids. Renovated throughout, it has been comfortably furnished. Alternatively, enjoy eating out, a short stroll will take you to all the excellent shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs in St Davids. The Cathedral and Bishops Palace are well worth a visit. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path nearby which leads to a number of pretty coves and beaches for you to explore the closest being Caerfai Bay only half a mile away or for the more energetic the beautiful sandy Whitesands beach is popular with surfers. Car parking on street. Access to cottage – step across pavement onto slate doorstep, over door threshold into lobby, through half glass door into well lit (has 2 outside windows) lounge/diner. Good lighting. Half glass back door, need to step over threshold into courtyard, which is covered in concrete slabs. Outside light. Stairs leading from the lounge, banister only on one side. There is only one toilet in the cottage, which is in the bathroom.
Lovely little cottage, well equipped - perfect location. Thoughtful touches and info - much appreciated. Thank you
What a lovely cottage and a fantastic break! We loved the coastal walks and relaxing by the fire. Great meal at Cwtch, we will be back!
Thank you, the cottage is lovely, cosy, clean and very comfortable. Great location for both St Davids and the coast path. The yard was lovely and sunny and peaceful at times and also storms and rough seas too. A great cottage.
Lovely, cosy cottage. We have had a great holiday. Lots of time spent on Whitesands beach and walking the Coastal path.
Lovely well equipped cottage. Great location. Wonderful cathedral - we watched a Shakespeare play in the Bishops Palace which was first rate. We liked Solva, would definitely come again. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
Lovely cottage - very comfortable, ideally situated and well equipped. St Davids was the last place we visited on the tour of our coastal path. We had splendid weather, met lovely people and we are very sorry to leave today. Thanks for everything!
Great cottage, had a lovely time! Especially enjoyed the sunny courtyard, close proximity to the coast path.
A very comfortable cottage, we have really enjoyed our week here. Thank you. For good food there's The Shed, Porthgain. The Chip Shop in Letterston, The Cross - St Davids all excellent.
Great location, good walks from the door, public transport to the Coastal path was great, Giannis ice cream and coffee shop - opposite city hall is wonderful. Good coffee and ice cream, mostly farmers markets is good (Thursday) at the cross square.
Fab little cottage - clean and cosy! Great location, Oriel y Parc & Pebbles cafe lovely coffee. The Bishops, St Davids kitchen and Cwtch all recommended. The Sloop in Porthgain always a winner especially when the sun comes out! We have had a lovely holiday - wish it was longer!
Once again, Pembrokeshire delivers on beauty and weather! First time we have stayed in St Davids itself, lovely cottage. Fried breakfast at Sound Cafe a must even for the veggie option. The Bishops pub is far too close for safety and is great for a decent meal and excellent service. Coffee at Giani's and Pebbles excellent and mega hot cho at the Latter a good option for the hot choc lovers. Whilst bread from the deli is v.v good, we do not think the bread and pies from the Nisa supermarket are anything to be sneezed at. If you surf/kite surf, Oliie at Big Blue in Newgale is a good and knowledgeable instructor. If you are new to Pembrokeshire, do not assume that any weather forecast you hear is accurate! If you are staying local, visit Porthclais for shear peace, quiet and beauty. If you fish, you can try off the rocks at the left of the cove there - so beautiful it doesn't matter if you don't catch anything but take solid footwear and know the tide. Practice comments re the house - its lovely. Thanks for a lovely place to stay. We would definitely return. Boat trip around/onto Ramsey Island is great.
So happy to be back down in St Davids having not been for a few years. Darcey has lvoed her first trip down here, I hope she will come to feel at home home as I have since the Tavenor family first took over twenty years ago. St Davids is a magical place, once you have been here you have to come again and again and again, every rock, beach, cove, cliff, path, shop and pub has charm, adventure and beauty. Thank you from a very happy and refreshed family. We will be back!
The cottage has the most amazing way of making you feel so relaxed and 'at home!'. It has been a few years since we have visited St Davids and it is still a great place to come too. We visited Picton Castle Which was lovely and well worth a visit. Although it has a new name of The Bishops, the food was great. Thank you once again for a great time.
It was useful to have the directions which made finding 37 Bryn Road very easy, the key was in the box and we found everything we needed including a lovely jar of home made marmalade- what a lovely touch! The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and everything worked well. The bedrooms were cosy and clean and having the heating timed to come on was a bonus. Although we were out all day and most of the evenings it was lovely to come back to such a cosy place. The outside space is small but sunny. I would definitely book this house again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you.
A beautiful cottage in a great location and very well equipped. Was great to have a cot and highchair provided. Some lovely walks along the coastal path including a short one from the cottage to Caerfai Beach via St Non's Bay. Lovely food at Cwtch, St Davids and The Shed,Porthgain.
We had a great time, the Parc Y Oriel was a favourite with the kids on the rainy day with its art crafts. Well equipped kitchen made it easy to eat in and prepare picnics for the beach.
