Kittiwake Cottage is a detached modern house set in the heart of the popular village of Marloes. Comfortably furnished in a quality contemporary style with a seaside and coastal theme, there are lovely wood and tiled floors throughout the ground floor, the spacious light dual-aspect lounge has French doors opening to the enclosed, sheltered landscaped garden with a split-level paved patio and further steps to a raised lawn; it catches the sun all afternoon and evening, so it is ideal for alfresco dining or just relaxing.
The modern, fitted kitchen leads through to the dining room with French doors that also open to the garden. Stairs take you to the light, pretty bedrooms which make lovely welcoming retreats. There is a well-stocked village shop and popular pub, The Lobster Pot, serving excellent food on your doorstep in Marloes and there is a play park to keep children entertained, while the stunning beaches of Marloes Sands and Musselwick are within a mile walk.
Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this wonderful coastline or take the Puffin Shuttle bus which stops in the village to explore further afield. Martins Haven is only 2 miles away and this is the embarkation point for boat trips to Skomer and Skokholm Island, a visit to see the puffins between April and July is sure to be a highlight of any holiday. The neighbouring village of Dale is popular with water sport enthusiasts and sailors, its position on the entrance to the Milford Haven waterway ensures a sheltered harbour and the hire centre can cater for all your requirements. There is a waterside pub serving good food, The Griffin, as well as a cafe and yacht club to try.

Approached via a B-road, the front of the cottage is set back from the road behind a stone wall. Access to the front door of the property is through an ungated opening in the stone wall. Access to the back door of the property is via a gravel path to the right of the front door, and through a wooden gate. The rear of the property can also be accessed through the rear garden via a gate. This route includes a number of steps. 2 parking spaces are provisioned in the car park of the Clock House B&B, which are situated behind the property and can be reached by driving up the lane to the side of the cottage. The parking spaces are immediately behind the rear fence of the property. The small rear garden is on 3 levels, with steps access. Level 1 is a ground level patio Level 2 is accessed by a single step and is a raised patio area Level 3 is a small lawn area which is accessed by a number of steps to a wooden gate. This area is contained by a perimeter fence. The patio area can be illuminated at night by a number of external lights. Ground floor facilities include porch, hall, cloakroom and wc, utility, kitchen and adjoining dining room, lounge and rear porch/boot room. The garden can be accessed through French doors in both the lounge and the dining room. The first floor is reached by a flight of straight stairs. First floor facilities include 1 master bedroom with ensuite shower room and wc (shower cubicle 800x800), 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom with occasional additional trundle bed, family bathroom with bath and shower over. Guide dogs welcome. Public transport (local bus service – the Puffin shuttle) – bus stop approx. 100 metres.

Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home the location is stunning, beds very comfy, perfect. Clean bright airy house lovely deco and everything you need, great places to visit. Recommend the Moorings in Dale and The Sloop in Porthgain. The Lobster Pot is fine for a big portion pub grub, will be back to cycle more of Pembrokeshire.
We've had a great time. The Cottage is fab - everything just perfect. Lovely location. Lovely House, perfect location for children to play, we can recommend the beach at Newgale, the boat trip from Martins Haven and Pembroke Castle.
