About Little Folly

This detached stone cottage has been renovated throughout and enjoys super views over the fields and out to sea, set down a country lane it is only a 10 minute walk from the sandy beach and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Nolton Haven.

Two steps lead up to the useful glazed porch where you can leave boots and coats before stepping into the wonderful sitting room with its vaulted ceiling, A-frame beams and exposed stonework, enjoy the sea views from here and cosy up round the wood burning stove on chillier evenings. The spacious modern kitchen/diner is well-equipped with slate floors and sea views. From here gives access to the two beautiful bedrooms, both with Hypnos zip and link beds and fresh white linen, the spacious master bedroom is a charming retreat with its vaulted ceiling, decorated in warm soft greys.

Enjoy dining alfresco surrounded by the lawned garden while you soak up the stunning sea views out over St Brides Bay, or spend evenings round the shared fire pit while you star gaze, the dark skies are amazing. A 10 minute walk down a country lane takes you to the Coastal Path, sandy beach, beachside pub and The Haven Brasserie serving good food, at Nolton Haven. Exploring this stunning coastline is best on foot. There are a variety of beaches all nearby, Broad Haven and Newgale both offer long golden stretches of sand, popular with families they are also good for water sports enthusiasts and surfers. Enjoy a meal at the Druidston Hotel set on the cliff top above the pretty beach of the same name. Following the coast round you will take in the picturesque fishing village of Solva with its pretty harbour, there is a range of shops, pubs and restaurants clustering round this inlet. Or just under 10 miles away is the historical tiny city of St Davids with its Bishops Palace and Cathedral, as well as excellent facilities or in the other direction is Little Haven with its pretty sandy cove and beachside pubs and restaurants.

3-6th Sept Beautiful house and fantastic view. The children loved the cows! Some lovely beach time at Nolton and Broad Haven, a great trip to St David's to the Cathedral. Beautiful coastal drive in each direction. We hope to be back soon. Thank you!

We had an enjoyable break in this part of Pembrokeshire, which was new to us. Found the sofas and bed to be very comfortable during our stay. The farm at Nolton Cross provided some lovely treats and good for basics too. The view of the sea did not disappoint and the sheep, with baby lambs was magical. The coastal path can be accessed from numerous places.

David, Rachael, Oscar & Eddie.

We Loved the house! Eddie loved seeing the sheep from the garden. Oscar loved all the art of the house. My husband loved the proximity to the coastal path. I loved the views. Thank you for such an amazing break.

Judith & Fred Oxford

Lovely break in Little Folly. I liked the chair in the garden a good wind breaker. Lot's of walks, wild flowers and birds. The icing on the cake was a trip to Skomer in the sunshine to see the puffins.

What a lovely place to stay! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Little Folly and have already booked again for next year. The cottage is very well equipped and we were cosy with the lovely log burner going as at times it was very wet and windy. We enjoyed a walk along Broad haven beach, painting pottery in Narberth, a steam train ride in Carmarthen and the soft play in Haverfordwest to name a few things. We are already looking forward to returning. Thank you for letting us stay

We have had a lovely week at Little Folly. Great weather which has allowed us to make the most of the coastal path - catching the Puffin shuttle to explore further afield. Enjoyed a couple of meals at the Brasserie down in Nolton Haven - delicious food beautifully presented. Already planning our return to this part of Pembrokeshire. Thanks

Absolutely gorgeous property, location, views, plenty of things to do and a beach and the Pembrokeshire coastal path just a short walk away. The owners of the property have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable with all the little mod cons that make the difference. Property is modern but with the traditional cottage character intact. We had an absolutely perfect stay and hope to return soon. Cannot recommend highly enough! To the owners and caretakers, Thank you!!

Helen and Gary

We have had the most amazing holiday. The cottage is perfect with stunning views. It has everything we needed and we looked forward to coming back to it each evening after our daily adventure. A day on Skomer which was magical with all the puffins. We also fitted in a morning sea kayaking with dragon activities just outside St Davids. We are certainly sorry to say good bye but will be back!

Gerdi V

It is a beautifully renovated and attractive house with a fantastic view. We enjoyed it immensely!
