About Little Mead
A delightful old fishermans cottage situated just yards from the sea front at Amroth. Little Mead has been extended with the addition of a spacious, comfortably furnished sitting room which looks down the lane to the sea. There are further sea views from the first floor rooms.
Although only a small village, Amroth has a lovely sandy beach complete with rock pools and boasts three pubs and a restaurant. Popular attactions such as Oakwood Theme Park, Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm and Heatherton World of Activities are within easy reach by car. The National Trust Gardens at Colby are a pleasant half a mile walk from the cottage.
Little Mead is a great base for a family holiday.

Thank you so much for your lovely warm welcome of Christmas card, wine, milk and Welsh cakes. Your thoughtfulness of the roasting tin and turkey foil added to our warm welcome. The decorated Christmas tree and garlands meant we felt Christmassy from the off and had a very cosy, Christmassy week. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a full roast Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings, very well equipped! All in all we have had a wonderfully relaxing Christmas at Little Mead. I would highly recommend your property and your hospitality and will definitely look to stay here again. My first visit to Little Mead and I very much hope it is not the last. Thank you for letting us enjoy Christmas here, we have loved every minute!

Our seconds stay at Little Mead, What a great cottage, Weather was good, We sat outside most afternoons. Over all had a really chilled week.

Monday we had breakfast at Martha's Kitchen, Cosheston and the perused the attached garden centre. Afternoon tea at Lamphey Court after a swim. Tuesady we walked to Saundersfoot, through the 'tunnels' and back. We also walked to the Colby woodland gardens and a venture over to St David's. A great week in a 'home from home' and we would recommend Little Mead. The new mattress was great too, thank you for the welcome package of milk and welshcakes.

We have really enjoyed our stay for Christmas in your lovely home. We found it very cosy & comfortable . We hope to be back again one day, lucky the sun came out on Christmas day that was a added bonus beautiful beach so clean. Thanks again for everything including the Xmas tree was a thoughtful touch.

We’ve had a wonderfully chilled week here at Little Mead. The house exceeded our expectations and we hope it won’t be our last visit. We’ve fallen in love with Amroth and its beautiful beach and extremely friendly people. The children enjoyed rock pooling and saw plenty of crabs and shrimp. The ribs in particular were very good at The Amroth Arms. We didn’t get round to doing what we had planned such as visiting Colby Gardens so hope to do that on a return visit. Warming up in front of the fire after a day on the beach was lovely. Thanks so much. August 2023

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous cottage. Everything here was more than adequate and seemed brand new. The location was ideal for seeing Pembrokeshire at its best. Saundersfoot, Tenby and Laugharne are perfect visiting towns with it's Welsh products available in all. The Amroth Arms is very good for food although we advise booking as it's very popular. We hope everyone following our visit enjoys as much as we have!
