Lleithyr is a delightful detached dormer bungalow, refurbished and comfortably furnished throughout. It is set down a country lane just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Whitesands beach, officially recognised as one of the best beaches in the World.
From the sunny conservatory, the perfect spot to sit and relax, step into the modern fitted kitchen with breakfast/dining area. 1 further step takes you through to the dual-aspect sitting room where the wood burning stove ensures a cosy feel even on the chilliest of evenings. Stairs lead from the dining room to the bedrooms nestling in the eaves above with views towards the majestic summit of Carn Llidi, St Davids and distant sea glimpses.
The enclosed lawned garden is prettily planted and wraps around the house. Here you can enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and soak up the views. The garage makes for useful storage of bikes etc and the outdoor shower is ideal to wash wetsuits after a day on the beach. Whitesands beach is a 10 minute walk and is popular with surfers, both beginners and professionals alike. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path nearby to explore this beautiful coastline, hike up Carn Llidi where the sunset is simply spectacular. St Davids itself with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace is approximately 1.5 miles away and offers excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries to explore.
Alternatively, there is a seasonal shop on the neighbouring caravan park where you can stock up on daily essentials. There is a nearby golf course for keen golfers with a beautiful coastal backdrop. A boat trip from St Justinians to Ramsey or round the islands is a must of any holiday; marvel at the bird and wildlife, with the seal pups in the autumn is a delight.
