Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, Eglwyswrw a tourist attraction at the foot of the Preseli Mountains. They are known internationally for breeding a shire horse called Major Mercury (aka Dyfed Celt) one of the household cavalry drum horses. A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! Day three of the MKF ( Midlands Kite Fliers) Rendezvous with a day flying at Hilton Court Gardens and Crafts, Roch, Pembrokeshire with its stunning coastal views overlooking St Brides Bay.
The Preseli Beast is an off-road racing event, still a relatively new event as it is only in its fifth year now. Approximately 24 miles off road, this race takes in a route through wooded valleys, trails and paths taking in scenery across the Gwaun Valley and Newport Bay. Opt for a smaller race with the Beast Bach, an 11 mile off-road race, or rise to the challenge of the Ultrabeast - a 32 mile off-road race! The start and finish are in Maenclochog, with the Ultrabeast kicking off first at 9am.
The Man Up In The Mud run is a great mud run approximately 4.5 miles in distance. Following a great coastal route, the course promises to be boggy and muddy with obstacles to climb over and under!

Cardigan River and Food Festival is an annual event which strives to showcase the fantastic local produce available in Wales with demonstrations, entertainment and activities. Of course - there will be ample opportunities to see and taste some of that local produce on offer!
Pembrokeshire's County Show returns for another year! This annual event brings thousands of people to the Haverfordwest Showground each year. With a variety of crafts and stalls, there is also displays, exhibitions and performances to see! There is a whole host of agricultural machinery on display as well as livestock to see, a fair, and a number of horse and dog shows. Of course there is also plenty of opportunities to meet and greet with local businesses, as well as sampling some great local produce on offer in the food hall!
