The position is stunning, set in 50 acres of wood and farmland in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park against a back drop of Carni Ingli (mountain of Angels).
Step into the open-plan living space, comfortably furnished in a mix of antique pieces with a cosy sitting room, the wood burning stove set in an imposing inglenook is perfect for those chillier evenings, French doors open to your own paved terrace where you can enjoy a barbecue on a summer’s evening. A country-style kitchen/dining room leads through to a double bedroom and bathroom while wooden open-tread stairs take you to the first floor with twin bedroom.
The grounds are an idyllic retreat planted with spring bulbs and wonderful flowering shrubs, it is home to a holly collection as featured on ‘Gardeners Question Time’. Wooden and metal sculptures including an imposing Welsh dragon add interest and a stream runs through feeding 2 ponds with pathways leading to hidden glens and benches where you can sit and just enjoy the peace and beauty.
Perfect for keen walkers with an abundance of footpaths and lanes to explore, the bird and wildlife will amaze. A short drive will take you to Newport with its selection of pubs, shops, galleries and cafes, spend your days on the glorious Newport Sands beach set on the mouth of the river Nevern. Golfers will enjoy playing on Newport Golf Links course, the sea views are spectacular. There is as a strong local community with a number of seasonal events mostly centred on the sea, so ideal for boating and water sport enthusiasts.
Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this beautiful coastline. If you bore of the sea, head in-land, the Gwaun Valley is nearby, hike up the Preselli hills, the views over the countryside to the coast are sweeping and breathtaking, so well worth it.

The street market in Newport runs from the beginning of April to the end of December. The market is open on Mondays, weather permitting, from Its aim is to promote and sell local produce and products and it presents an opportunity to buy fresh produce and locally reared meats.
Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, Eglwyswrw a tourist attraction at the foot of the Preseli Mountains. They are known internationally for breeding a shire horse called Major Mercury (aka Dyfed Celt) one of the household cavalry drum horses. There is plenty for the whole family to do, whatever the weather. Daily Timetable of activities including, Harnessing demonstrations, during which we will dress the horse in a working set of harness and explain the function and history of the harness, Horse and cart rides (Summer Holidays Only) Tractor ride around the working farm, Animal Feeding and Donkey Grooming. They also have an Indoor soft play area & Outdoor adventure area - Crazy Golf, Sand Shed and Skittles. Nature Trail with woodlands and hedgerows to explore and stunning views of the Preseli Mountains to enjoy.

Established in 2009, St Dogmaels Farmers Market takes place inside the St Dogmaels Abbey and Coach House running every Tuesday morning throughout the year, between the hours of 9am and 1pm. A fairly small market with around 18 stalls, the market offers a range of delicious produce including fresh seafood, bread made with locally milled yeast, sweet pastries, tarts and pies as well as cheeses, eggs, chutneys, vegetables. All produce on offer is grown, reared and/or manufactured within 30 miles of the village so it is no wonder that in 2016, St Dogmaels Farmers Market was declared the best food market in Britain by the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards. Enjoy a browse through the stalls, followed by a coffee with friends listening to the local volunteering musicians. The market often hosts cookery demonstrations and crafting courses throughout the year also.

Head to the Victorian Christmas Fair at Picton Castle and soak up the wonderful Christmas atmosphere! The picturesque 13th Century Castle makes a perfect setting for a Christmas market with staterooms and corridors housing over 60 stalls offering handmade gifts, local produce, handcrafted jewellery, ceramics and toys. Follow a trail through the Castle and out into the courtyard whilst sampling delicious refreshments and browsing for presents.The event runs from 10am to 5pm with last entry at 4pm, entry prices TBC. Picton Castle is holding a magical family friend Christmas event every weekend throughout December this year up until Christmas. Take the children to meet Santa and receive a gift, or take part in the craft workshops or Christmas trail. Festive refreshments including mulled wine and spiced apple juice will be available. Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! Refreshments are available on the street and in the surrounding pubs and restaurants. This event is free entry, donations are appreciated as any money given is then put towards next year's celebrations.
A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
This is an annual event which takes places right in the centre of the town of Cardigan on the last Saturday in April. The main attraction is the parade which goes through the town, made up of local horses followed by vintage vehicles such as tractors, cars and motorcycles. Head along in the morning to see the horses being judged.

With two different distances available, you can either enter the Middle Distance event which is made up of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run; or the Sprint Distance which is made up of a 750m swim, a 13 mile cycle and a 4 mile run. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!
