Completely renovated and comfortably furnished, many features of this rambling house have been retained with beams and exposed stone walls. Cosy up on chillier evenings in the large lounge with leather sofas and woodburning stove. The large farmhouse style kitchen gives plenty of space to prepare a meal with its traditional pine table, while there is also a formal dining room with a patio door opening out to a decked split-level patio and sheltered enclosed, lawned garden, perfect for alfresco meals on summer’s evenings. The beautiful light master bedroom has twin aspects, which offer stunning views over the coastline and out to sea. You are welcome to wander the surrounding fields when there are no livestock out, so children will love all the space and freedom, why not take a picnic to one of the fields where you can admire the wonderful sea views.
Conveniently located with a number of beaches within a 5 minute drive, and the facilities of Newport only 5 miles away. Leave the car behind as the Poppit Rocket bus goes past the end of the drive and will drop you off on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, so you can explore a section or cross over the road and join the footpath that takes you down to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, Eglwyswrw a tourist attraction at the foot of the Preseli Mountains. They are known internationally for breeding a shire horse called Major Mercury (aka Dyfed Celt) one of the household cavalry drum horses. There is plenty for the whole family to do, whatever the weather. Daily Timetable of activities including, Harnessing demonstrations, during which we will dress the horse in a working set of harness and explain the function and history of the harness, Horse and cart rides (Summer Holidays Only) Tractor ride around the working farm, Animal Feeding and Donkey Grooming. They also have an Indoor soft play area & Outdoor adventure area - Crazy Golf, Sand Shed and Skittles. Nature Trail with woodlands and hedgerows to explore and stunning views of the Preseli Mountains to enjoy.

A Bay to Remember is a fully guided marine boat tours. They offer a safe and exhilarating experience suitable for all ages and abilities, using a modern purpose built vessel with the latest environmentally friendly engines and equipment, including underwater hydrophones to allow you to listen in on our amazing underwater world. Trips depart all year round (limited winter sailings) and last from 1 - 1 1/2 hours in length, exploring the amazing coastline and abundant wildlife found in Cardigan Bay and beyond. Opera Teifi this year are presenting their production of the classic musical, Carousel. Carousel tells the story of carnival barker Billy Bigelow who falls in love with millworker Julie Jordan. When things start to go wrong, Billy makes some poor choices in an attempt to right things. A popular classic amongst many, this musical contains the favoured song, "You'll Never Walk Alone". Performances start at 7.30pm every night from Tuesday 22nd until Froday 25th. Tickets are £12.50 each.

This year, Cardigan is celebrating Christmas with a bonanza of festive celebrations spread over a whole fortnight! There will be late night shopping, pop up events and free parking throughout the town on Saturdays. The fortnight kicks off on the 3rd with the Lights Switch on, and there will be a Festive Fireworks Display on the 9th December. A Giant Lantern Parade will also be held through the streets of Cardigan between 7pm and 8pm on the 9th. In the true festive spirit, there will be a Christmas Fair in Cardigan Castle on the 10th and 11th as well as Cabaret at the Small World Theatre on the 16th. Head to Cardigan Guildhall on the 17th to meet real reindeers!

Head to Theatre Mwldan this Christmas and see the ever-popular tale of Peter Pan in panto! In traditional pantomime style, this classic tale will star the Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinkerbell, Wendy, Michael and John. Fishguard once again welcomes you to it's Annual New Year's Eve Street Party! With celebrations, live music and fireworks - it really is a fantastic party to celebrate the coming of the New Year! Refreshments are available on the street and in the surrounding pubs and restaurants. This event is free entry, donations are appreciated as any money given is then put towards next year's celebrations.
A perfect way to bring in the new year, Victoria Hall in Roch is hosting their annual New Years celebrations with a bonfire and fireworks. The event starts from 5pm onwards with the lighting of the bonfire, and refreshments are available in the hall throughout the evening. Admission to be paid upon entry.
Amy Wadge and Luke Jackson, two generations of singer-songwriters, come together in this performance at Theatre Mwldan. Any Wadge has established herself as one of the country's most successful singer-songwriters with a large portfolio of compositions and performances under her belt. She has even worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, being the co-writer of one of his best-selling singles "Thinking Out Loud" which won her a Grammy along with a BRIT nominations. Luke Jackson is a rising young singer-songwriter who has been nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award. His talented voice and great guitar skills have seen him perform acoustic sets supporting the likes of Oysterband and Show of Hands as well as playing The Great British Folk Festival. This performance begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £12.
Celebrate Burns Night with a real Scottish treat in Moylegrove this January. You can dine on Scottish dishes including haggis, tatties, neeps and clootie dumplings. There will also be entertainment including pipers, musicians and folk singers as well as a slide-show of north-west Scotland. This event starts at 7.30pm at Moylegrove Village Hall (the old school).
This live production tells the tale of Welsh actor, Richard Burton, from his humble beginnings to his Hollywood fame. The story tells of his relationship with the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, as well as his experiences with wealth and fame. Burton is a live theatre production with Rhodri Miles of Game of Thrones fame starring as a young Richard Burton. It has received critical acclaim at two Edinburgh Fringe Festivals (2009 and 2014) plus at the 2010 Hollywood Fringe Festival. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets start from £3.
Children's classic tale, Pinocchio, is brought to life this February with Cbeebies Patrick Lynch telling the story of the famous puppet. The performance begins at 2pm and tickets start from £8.50. The show is suitable for children aged 5 and up.
Oysters 3 are made up of the three founder members of folk-rock band Oysterband. This March, Oysters 3, are treating Theatre Mwldan to a fresh performance with acoustic songs you may recognise from their lengthy career and stories which give an interesting insight to the history of the band. This performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets start at £3.
A firm favourite with our regular visitors, Picton Castle's Easter Egg Trail for children is a self-guided scamper through fabulous woodlands as they burst into bloom. Collect your leaflet at the Ticket Office and follow the trail – you will find clues along the way! When you have finished, pop into the Gift Shop to collect your prize. It's a great way for the whole family to enjoy the woodlands as masses of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias come into flower. While the kids rush around in search of clues, the ‘grown-ups' can enjoy the magnificent colours and scents. After the walk, what better reward than a nice warming cup of hot chocolate with cream and a homemade cake in the Courtyard Restaurant, or perhaps make it a lunchtime visit and enjoy the Spanish dish of the day with a glass of wine or beer! The Fureys are a popular Irish folk band who have been performing sold-out concerts for over 39 years. Their timeless tunes are emotive and guaranteed to give you an enjoyable evening. The performance begins at 7.30pm and tickets start from £18.50.
The Preseli Beast is an off-road racing event, still a relatively new event as it is only in its fifth year now. Approximately 24 miles off road, this race takes in a route through wooded valleys, trails and paths taking in scenery across the Gwaun Valley and Newport Bay. Opt for a smaller race with the Beast Bach, an 11 mile off-road race, or rise to the challenge of the Ultrabeast - a 32 mile off-road race! The start and finish are in Maenclochog, with the Ultrabeast kicking off first at 9am.
2017 celebrates Penlan's third year of festivities set in the peaceful woodland setting. There will be craft stalls, refreshments, live music, open mic, and competitions such as the Annual Song Writing Competition.
With two different distances available, you can either enter the Middle Distance Ocean Lava event which is made up of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycle and a 13.1 mile run; or the Wales Triathlon Sprint Distance which is made up of a 750m swim, a 13 mile cycle and a 4 mile run. Whether you're an athlete or a spectator, supporters line the streets creating an amazing atmosphere and energy which definitely makes this event a must-see!
Held in various locations across the seaside town of Fishguard, this festival occurs annual over the August Bank Holiday celebrating jazz and blues music.
