The village of Broad Haven is easily reached from Haverfordwest along the B4341. Parking is available in an unmade up car park across the road from the cottage. However, it may be possible to park on the double yellow lines outside for loading and unloading purposes. There is a dropped pavement leading to a gate opening of approx. 85cm. From the road to the front door is a level path of approx. 18 metres. The front garden is laid to lawn with a small paved area in front of the cottage with a wooden seat. French doors from the kitchen open to an enclosed rear garden, which is split level. The large lower patio has two steps each approx. 15 cm high at the far end. The upper patio is reached by 5 steps, each approx. 18 cm high, and contains patio furniture. External lighting is available at front and back via switches adjacent to exterior doors. The ground floor is tiled throughout, apart from the sitting room which is carpeted. On the ground floor is a kitchen/diner with very good natural light in the kitchen area and a utility with a separate cloaks (wc/whb). There are extensive worktops, including a breakfast bar with under-counter fridge and freezer. Oven and dishwasher are also under-counter. TV with Teletext operated by remote control. Carpeted stairs lead off the dining area to the first floor where the bedrooms are situated, and the first three steps have no handrail. Sturdy handrail alongside main body of staircase, which is well lit. En-suite bathroom and shower room both have good lighting. Guide dog welcome. Bus stop with shelter on the sea front opposite local shop approx. 200 metres from cottage. Buses from here go to Haverfordwest. Also the ‘Puffin Shuttle’ stops here which links places on the Coastal Path from St David’s to Martin’s Haven – which is daily in summer and less frequently in winter.
Accommodation is perfect and comfortable. Beach was fantastic for Dixon - he loved it. We had a lovely holiday and the weather was very kind.
A super position for your well-presented, well-equipped cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Definitely a place to stay again in the future. Thank you.
We have had a lovely week here. A comfortable and well-equipped house to stay in and a little sun trap on the patio. Lots of playing on the beach and walks to Little Haven. A wonderful Sunday lunch at the Ocean. Would love to return.
Lovely place - one of the best I have ever stayed in. Great walking and so nice to come back to somewhere that feels like home. A great position for walking the coast path and all the comforts of home after a days walk.
We have all had a lovely time staying here. Thank you for a great holiday in a well equipped and relaxed holiday house. We will be back (for a third time).
We have had a wonderful week in Broad Haven, we have stayed in a few different rentals, but this has been by far away the best. The beds are really comfortable, and the kitchen is brilliantly equipped, all made staying here a pleasure. The finishing touches are well thought out and tasteful. We will definitely stay here again.
We have really enjoyed staying here. We have been to Broad Haven countless times and this has definitely been the best - the beds were really comfortable. We will be back.
Been to Broad Haven many times and love it - this is the best cottage we have had in the best location. We'll be back.
What a lovely cottage. We have really appreciated having such a comfortable , well-equipped place to come back to. It is so nice to have comfortable beds, nice crockery and cutlery - all the little details which have made staying here such a pleasure. We can only echo all the previous comments.
Thank you for letting us stay in your perfect cottage - the best equipped and furnished of any holiday cottage we have been in. A fantastic location too with so much to see and do.
We visit Pembroke regularly and this is our first time staying in the West. Cottage is beautiful, lovely and clean. Well equipped and a great location for exploring. We will return. Both the castle and The Swan Inn great restaurants and lovely walk back either on the beach (tide permitting) or on the road with a stunning view and sunset.
Our first visit to this part of Wales and we have enjoyed our week here. Puffin Cottage is very well appointed - everything you could need. Would love to come back.
We've been coming to Broad Haven for many years and this is by far the nicest, well-appointed and well-kept cottage we have stayed at. It's a credit to you.
This was our 5th visit to Broad Haven and by far this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. Superb decor and everything you could possibly want, so well equipped.
What a lovely cottage and just a short stroll from a lovely beach, perfect for walking Bailey, up to 3 times daily! Thank you for a really enjoyable, relaxing week at Puffin Cottage.
We had a great week in Broad Haven. Cottage absolutely beautiful and very well appointed, so well equipped. Thank you for a lovely week.
We've had a lovely week in Puffin Cottage, the fact that it is so close to the beach makes for perfect dog walks every day. Fantastic, well equipped cottage and home-from-home, it is a shame to be leaving.
We have had a great time. Cottage is well equipped and spotless. Location is great for us and the dog. The cottage is a credit to you. The cottage was recommended by one of the people above and we are glad we took them up on their recommendation. Will come again.
We have had a fantastic Christmas stay at Puffin Cottage which is so well equipped and the location is great. "Wow-wow". The mulled wine and mince pies were great - thank you
We have had a lovely time, we wish it was longer but we hope to come next May sometime. This is the best holiday cottage we have been in. It is a credit to you. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
Our first trip to Broad Haven. The cottage is very comfortable and we enjoyed having the beach on our doorstep, especially at low tide. Our highlights included seeing seals and their pups near St Brides, the coast path in general but particularly between St David’s and Newgale, Marloes beach and a delicious meal at the Griffin Inn at Dale. We certainly plan to return – plenty more to explore.
This was our second visit to Broad Haven, this time with our dog Stitch! It is our first stay in Puffin Cottage and we plan to come back next year for a mini honeymoon so that we can include Stitch. Beautiful cottage and location, we want to live here!
What a lovely holiday home you have created! We have had a really nice stay and enjoyed all the facilities – you have made family life on holiday very easy. We have stayed in 2 other places in Broad Haven before and this is the nicest. We have had great days on the beach, also visited St David’s, Little Haven and Druidstone Haven. Amazing food at The Castle in Little Haven, the Druidstone Hotel and at The Swan Inn. Chips on the beach from the Ocean Café also nice. We look forward to coming back really soon.
WOW! We have had such an amazing week in your fabulous holiday home. It has everything we could have wished for and more (even sunshine!). Grace (4) and Joseph (1) have loved all the wonderful beaches, especially ‘our’ beach just down the road. Many many thanks.
We had a wonderful holiday in this wonderful holiday home. We took the coastal bus to bus to St David’s and visited Narberth, (recommend the beach and surf school) in Newgale. And a day out at Dale which also offers water sports. Solva was definitely the best place for crabbing. (Recommend a night out at Little Haven). The Castle pub food was fantastic! Thank you for the lovely wine!
Thank you for a lovely holiday in your beautiful cottage! Brilliant beach/rock pools/waves and lots to explore along the coastal path. Puffin bus is a great idea so only walking in one direction! Thank you for all your thoughtful fittings etc in the cottage (and wine!)
We have had a lovely holiday in this beautiful, well-equipped cottage. There is so much to see and we have visited St David’s, Solva, Stackpole Quays and walked to Little Haven at low tide. Lovely that everywhere is so dog friendly. We have plans to return.
