I knew this was a good place when i saw the stanny snacks in the lovely welcome basket (my peeps enjoyed their treats too!) It has been a great week with lovely walks. I've been to Broad haven and Little Haven, walked around Dinas Island, walked to Fishguard, visited Pengelli Forest, walked all the way from here to Ceibwr Bay, walked up Dinas Mountain, played on Poppit Sands and quite a few trips to Pwll Gwaelod! All that in a week. I was a Lab Pointer cross when i arrived but i'm leaving as a Daschund. My peeps said the house is in a great location for getting to all these fantastic places. The only downside for me was that none of the pubs are dog friendly but Bara Brith let me in and I watched my peeps have a lovely lunch. My peeps did have some good grub and a friendly welcome at the Freemasons and a special night out at the Gold Lion in Newport. I'd love to come back especially to see Twm and Ned the next door neighbours who I said hello to everday. Signing off for now. Stan the Dog i am.
Brilliant cottage, very warm. Lovely views and lots of equipment. It is our second time at Rhoslan and it was just as good as the first. Recommend the steak at The Freemasons Arms. A lovely holiday. Thanks.
We came to share a family Christmas with our parents who live here. So convenient. Thank you so much for making us all feel so welcome at Christmas. The children especially loved the decorations & chocolates.
A very clean, cosy and well-appointed house for our Christmas stay. Thank you for the fabulous welcome pack gift too - A very generous and festive touch, even with dog treats so everyone was happy. We hope to return in the future.
Thanks for a great week, we really enjoyed our stay. We were very lucky with the weather. Didn't think id be wearing shorts and having pub lunches outdoors. Brandi loved playing in the garden. We'd have happily stayed for longer.
Great week! Weather good. Ben loved all the beaches very good neighbours fixed the TV.
Great facilities in the cottage, especially the kitchen. Loved Newport Sands, food at The Golden Lion and sunset at Dinas Head. Highlights - Newgale Sands, Solva in searing sun and surprised at how nice Tenby was. Pickle loved chasing ball in garden. Far too hot to sit in conservatory - corker week for my birthday.
Thank you for our lovely stay in your very comfy house. Beautiful countryside, great long walks with stunning views. All in all a fantastic stay - Thank you.
Nice home, warm & comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday in a comfortable & well equipped house - Thank you
We have had a lovely time in Rhoslan. The house is well equipped and provides everything you need for a week in Wales. During the days we visited and spent days on the coastal area. Playing in the sea and watching nature such as birds of prey. There is also good shopping in the are; Cardigan, Fishguard and Newport have plenty of stores for souvenirs. There is a local Co-Op in Fishguard for any groceries. There is also a Mace village store that supplies the essentials. There are plenty of tourist attractions around to. If beautiful coasts are not your thing, there are plenty of shopping and even The Blue Lagoon leisure centre is 30 minutes away. Not to mention a zoo for any younger people. The community around here is lovely to, we haven't met one grumpy person yet. Everyone is willing to help and everyone is friendly. Something else that has struck me since our stay is how good value certain things are like fuel and car parks. When it comes to the end of the day there is plenty to keep you entertained. There is a TV with freeview and a DVD player with a selection of DVD's provided. The hosts have even provided board games for the younger generation. All in all we have really enjoyed our stay here in Dinas. The house is brilliant, the area is lovely with plenty to do. Thanks very much to Peter & Co for a lovely time. It has been a privilege.
We have stayed in many cottages over the past few years and in different parts of Pembrokeshire. But I can honestly say we have never stayed in one like this. The house is so clean, yet it is extremely lovely and comfortable. Really cosy, best ever. Plus you have a Knight in Shining Armour next door. Because the weather was so mixed we have really enjoyed the comfort of the house and conservatory. Even Sophie found her way round the house and loves the garden - his blindness was forgotten. Wonderful
Really nice to come back to a cosy cottage after a long day hiking or at the beach. Would definitely recommend the walk to Newport as there was a gorgeous sandy beaches and amazing quality food at the Golden Lion & awesome outside eating area. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday
A lovely welcoming cottage, nice and warm when needed, during a cool Easter. Visited lots of the coast and beaches with the dog. Saw birds of prey. Recommend the Free Masons Arms for a fab meal and grrat landlords. Best fish and chips in ages from Moby dicks but allow waiting time. Thank you for a great week Mr and Mrs James
Very enjoyable week, lovely house - Hope to return.
Spacious, comfortable and clean with many fine touches. We are two families who have seen over 20 years of self-catering accomodation - This is one, if not the best of all that we have experienced in the UK, in all our years - Excellent!
An ideal holiday home - spacious and comfortable....excellent attention to detail.
