About Shell Haven

Shell Haven is a stunning, detached, split-level bungalow within yards of the glorious sandy beach at Amroth. Its elevated position ensures the sea views are simply breathtaking. Steps lead down to this newly renovated holiday home, finished to a high standard in a contemporary style with a bright seaside theme. The split-level open-plan living space enjoys wonderful views over the beach, and Carmarthen bay with Caldey Island, Monkstone Point and Saundersfoot spread out before you.

The modern, fitted kitchen has 2 steps down to the dining area and spacious sitting room, whilst the sunny conservatory offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quiet read while admiring the sea view. French doors open from here and the sitting room to a large decked terrace where you can enjoy an alfresco meal with steps down to a lower gravel terrace with a fire pit to gather round on a summer’s evening, all while you soak up the amazing view.

The spacious master bedroom suite with dressing area and ensuite modern bathroom benefits from excellent sea views through the conservatory, whilst the double bedroom is at the front and has panaromic coastal views. Both twin rooms are to the rear.

A gate at the bottom of the garden leads out to the seafront at Amroth, spend your days on this wonderful sandy beach; the Amroth Arms is right there for you to enjoy hearty meals or there are other pubs, restaurants, cafes and a seasonal shop all within walking distance. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Amroth and explore further along the coastline taking in Marros Beach, or to the West, Wiseman’s Bridge, with its beachside pub; Coppet Hall beach with the award winning Coast restaurant and the bustling harbour village of Saundersfoot offers a choice of pubs, restaurants and shops to try.

If you can tear yourself away from the beach, the National Trust Colby Woods and Gardens famous for their colourful displays of Rhododendrons in Amroth are well worth a visit, as is the medieval walled town of Tenby, a little further afield. For families there are a host of attractions all within a short drive.

There is plenty of space for walking gear, bikes and water sports equipment at Shell Haven.

The sight and sound of the sea will be the backdrop for your holiday with your family or friends and will leave you with memories to cherish forever.

'We had a relaxing Easter at Shell Haven, the weather was mixed but we still enjoyed some great walking along the coastal path and beach (which is right outside). The house was lovely and warm and has the most amazing view of Amroth beach. We enjoyed watching the waves from the lovely conservatory/large French windows which really do make the most of the view. The owners have obviously got an eye for every detail and the property is spacious, well-equipped and very tastefully furnished. We felt at home and very relaxed. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and would say this is the highest standard we have been to. We may be back in the summer to take advantage of better weather/the lovely decking that has been added this year!'
