Skomer View is a spacious, detached holiday home offering wonderful views over St Brides Bay to Skomer Island. You will really appreciate how close you are to the sea and coast in the first floor lounge with one glazed wall, maximising the view; it allows you to really enjoy it while you relax on the comfortable sofas. Set back down its own drive in the village of Roch, it is less than 2 miles from the popular Newgale beach. Furnished in a contemporary style in bold seaside colours, it is beautifully decorated. The modern well-fitted and equipped kitchen opens to the dining room, perfect for leisurely family meals together. French doors open to a paved terrace with steps down to a large enclosed lawn, ideal to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and for children to play. Many of the spacious bedrooms also offer sea views.

Tucked away on the edge of the village of Roch there is a local pub within easy walking distance, while the beautiful sandy beach of Newgale, popular with surfers is less than 2 miles away, spend your days on the beach with its water sports hire shop then refresh at the pub or try one of the 2 cafes located on the beach. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really explore this stunning coastline on foot. The picturesque harbour village of Solva is nearby enjoy sampling its pubs, restaurants or wander its galleries and antique shops or a little further on lies the tiny city of St Davids with its excellent facilities and historic Cathedral and Bishops Palace. In the other direction lies more excellent beaches to try including the long, sandy beach at Broad Haven and the sheltered cove of Little Haven.

Approached from an A-road then approximately 1/2 mile of village roads. Access down own drive with ample parking (up to 4 cars). Level walk from parking to front door. Ground floor facilities are all on one level. Accessible plug sockets and light switches. Well-lit dining room with views to garden to beyond. TV with teletext operated by remote control in lounge. External lighting to front and rear of property. Large level patio down 2 low level steps from rear patio doors. Ramp to level grassed garden at rear of the property. Guide dogs welcome. 1/2 mile level walk to frequent bus service along coast road.

1st and probably not our last stay at Skomer View. We have really enjoyed staying here and can find no issues. I loved my comfy bed, and I'm sure my family felt the same with theirs. The rooms are all great, and very spacious with cosy furnishings. We are hopeful of a return next summer!

Wine Chocolate milk and biscuits, a lovely thought thankyou! lovely well decorated and tastful house , very child friendly with good quality kiddie equipment, cots high chair etc. very useful not to have to cart all that with you. Excellent family living room with lots of table space , plenty of room for toddlers to run about and very useful to have two loungers, magnificent view from upstairs.

This is our second year at Skomer view, Its a great house admirably suited to holidays with young families, and wonderfuly located for the beaches and other attractions. It is very well appointed, spacious, and with a nice garden where young can play in safty. We would love to come again!
