Set back down its own drive in the village of Roch, it is less than 2 miles from the popular Newgale beach. Furnished in a contemporary style in bold seaside colours, it is beautifully decorated. The modern well-fitted and equipped kitchen opens to the dining room, perfect for leisurely family meals together. French doors open to a paved terrace with steps down to a large enclosed lawn, ideal to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening and for children to play. Many of the spacious bedrooms also offer sea views.
Tucked away on the edge of the village of Roch there is a well-stocked shop and local pub within easy walking distance, while the beautiful sandy beach of Newgale, popular with surfers is less than 2 miles away, spend your days on the beach with its water sports hire shop then refresh at the pub or try one of the 2 cafes located on the beach. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really explore this stunning coastline on foot. A horse ride on the beach from Nolton with its pretty cove should not be missed. The picturesque harbour village of Solva is nearby enjoy sampling its pubs, restaurants or wander its galleries and antique shops or a little further on lies the tiny city of St David’s with its excellent facilities and historic Cathedral and Bishops Palace. In the other direction lies more excellent beaches to try including the long, sandy beach at Broad Haven and the sheltered cove of Little Haven.

Picton Castle will be holding a magical Christmas tour through their festive decorated castle! Children will be able to meet Santa himself and of course he will have gifts for every child ready for the well behaved ones that is! This year's Torch Theatre Pantomime is Dick Whittington, the story of a young boy and his cat who journey to London overcoming a wealth of adventures along the way. Written and directed by the Torch's own Peter Doran, this play guarantees a couple of hours filled with fun and laughter. There will be a relaxed performance at 6.30pm on Monday 18th December, specially adapted for those with Autism and other learning disabilities. Swansea City Opera brings their 2018 production, The Barber of Seville, to Milford Haven's Torch Theatre this February. Rossini's famous opera promises the comical telling of a love triangle between Count Almaviva, Rosina and Doctor Bartolo, with added adventures from the town barber, Figaro. The Torch Theatre Company is proud to present their latest production, The Wood. Directed by Peter Doran, the play follows the lives of two young soldiers who fight alongside each other in Mametz Wood during the First World War. Inspired by a true story, this play was written by Owen Thomas (writer of the award-winning Grav) in commemoration of the centenary of the end of the First World War. The Milford Haven Amateur Operatic Society are putting on a show! This year's production is the classic Annie Get Your Gun, the story of country girl Annie Oakley who falls in love with with rifleman Frank Butler after she's made star of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.
This award-winning Torch Theatre Company production returns home in 2018. This one-man play sees Gareth J Bale take on the role of Welsh icon Ray Gravell who is known for his performances on the rugby field. Grav tells the story of the man behind the legend before he died in 2007, at the age of 56.
Wales' only acapella festival, the Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival, returns in 2018 for it's tenth anniversary. Between 4th and the 6th May, Narberth will be hosting a weekend full of performances and workshops celebrating all things a cappella. This Charity Horse and Dog Show is an annual event which occurs in May each year in St. David's. With show jumping, dog shows, stalls and refreshments, this is a great day out for all those interested in horses and dogs!
The St Davids Cathedral Festival takes place across ten days with a range of classical and contemporary musical performances taking place in the beautiful setting of St Davids Cathedral. This event is a success year after year, and is definitely one not to be missed. Performers in the past have included the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, The Sixteen, Goodwick Brass Band. Rock the Castle is back for yet another year! For it's first event, Pembroke Castle will be hosting The World Famous Elvis Show starring Chis Connor. Since starting out in 2009, this Elvis performer has played to crowds in the Manchester Apollo, Harrogate International Centre and the London Palladium. He has been awarded the title of The Greatest Elvis Tribute in the World by a world-wide fan poll and has even had the pleasure of performing with the original back-up singers to the King of Rock'n'Roll, The Sweet Inspirations. Performing with a twelve piece band and the aforementioned back-up singers, this show recreates two popular Elvis concerts across two hours. Support act will be The Bluejays, a four-piece band formed after working together on various West End shows, who will be playing classic hits from favourites such as Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry.Tickets cost £19.50pp and will be available to buy from the 24th November. The triathlon with a difference is back once again! Spread across the three days, the Wales Swim takes place on the Friday night on Tenby North Beach, the Sportive on the Saturday and the Marathon on the Sunday. Athletes can opt for just one event or all three meaning everyone who wants to can get involved! Children can even get involved on the Friday in the Taff Kids event! It really is a great event with an exciting atmosphere, athletes and supporters are encouraged to get involved for the whole weekend!
had a great week with the family. a great house for 10 people although the weather wasn't great we had a great time and the Blue lagoon was great. the views are amazing and the house is well equipped.
Third visit here and as always a delight to walk through the door.Has been re- decorated since last visit to a very high standard. lovely to have clean fresh towels which we didn't have before . Our 3rd year at Skomer View We are a large family with 4 small children, and as ever we find the house the perfect place to spend a together family holiday. We have had a really good holiday and have as always, enjoyed the beaches , Coastal scenery etc., The children have had lots of interesting things to see and do. Wine Chocolate milk and biscuits, a lovely thought thankyou! lovely well decorated and tastful house , very child friendly with good quality kiddie equipment, cots high chair etc. very useful not to have to cart all that with you. Excellent family living room with lots of table space , plenty of room for toddlers to run about and very useful to have two loungers, magnificent view from upstairs.
This is our second year at Skomer view, Its a great house admirably suited to holidays with young families, and wonderfuly located for the beaches and other attractions. It is very well appointed, spacious, and with a nice garden where young can play in safty. We would love to come again!

Had a super time here in this very well equipped holiday house which easily coped with 6 adults and 6 children, we felt we had plenty of space. The surrounding countryside and beaches were great.

Ideally situated for beaches, towns and coastal path 'Walking in Pembrokeshire' books very useful, did 2 of the circular walks, hope to do more in the future. The weather was great except for one day. Hope it's as good for you! The house is superb and cant find fault.
