About The Cottage

The Cottage is a picturesque period thatched cottage, set just a few minutes downhill walk from the golden sandy Saundersfoot beach and its facilities. Built in 1920, this listed, romantic arts and crafts cottage retains plenty of character with pretty leaded windows, beams and feature fireplaces, it has been beautifully renovated to a high standard, sympathetically and stylishly furnished with quality antique pieces.

The spacious sitting room with large sofas, feature Inglenook fireplace with electric wood burner effect fire is the perfect spot to relax. The small, yet fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing family meals to be enjoyed around the dining room table.

With one double ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, stairs lead up to three further bedrooms nestling in the thatch, watch your head on some of the beams. The spacious master bedroom is a romantic delight with sea views.

Set in a beautifully laid and enclosed garden with pretty flowers and shrubs that surround the house, enjoy summer evenings and alfresco meals either on the paved terrace or in the shelter of the roundavel. From the moment you arrive, you can leave your car behind and enjoy a slower pace to life, with everything on your doorstep. Spend your days on the wonderful beach, try your hand at one of the many water sports on offer, or explore the superb coastline via the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. There is an excellent range of restaurants, pubs and shops to wander set round Saundersfoot’s pretty harbour, just a short walk from The Cottage. Walk through the tunnels, a relic from Saundersfoot's coal mining history to the neighbouring beaches of Coppet Hall and Wiseman’s Bridge, taking in refreshments or a meal at the renowned Coast restaurant or Wiseman's Bridge pub right on the beachside. Further on is Amroth, a popular seaside village with cafes and restaurants along its beach front. To the West is the bustling medieval walled town of Tenby with its picturesque harbour and four wonderful sandy beaches.

There are a wealth of family attractions to try including Folly Farm, Manor House Wildlife Park and Heatherton World of Activities. The Cottage is an absolute delight, perfect for a romantic getaway or family holidays, whatever the time of year.
